What is with the headline? Old people? Not a great way to invite people to read your article, but a great way to find out who wrote the article and avoid them like the plague.

I only saw a few people really address the changes but for the most part people were complaining about how broken it was. I think Sonic has a lot of potential to be a great game but I think it needs to be made by people who want to make a great experience and upgrade the series instead of trying to rekindle the flame that Sonic had back in the day. Most of the Sonic fanbase is more mature, I'm not saying that Sonic should turn into a Conker type character, but I do think if they design a Sonic game that was less childish (both in tone and design) it would do the franchise a world of good.

@milk: What is so hard to understand about people watching a YouTuber who they find entertaining? People watch Let's Plays for the personalities of the YouTubers, not just the gameplay itself. I hear people say this all the time but it literally takes a couple seconds of thought to get the conclusion I just gave you.

They never listened to their community before so why start now.

I don't understand why you would send death threats to anybody. I hate that people label these guys as "gamers" too, to me a gamer loves gaming, loves the whole culture of gaming, and considers gaming more than a hobby or just a way to pass the time. I think the people sending these threats play like two games all year and those games are most likely the games that are the most popular on Twitch, they don't keep up with what is going on gaming and they don't care. That's just my opinion, I think there is a huge difference between gamers and people who play games.

My favorite part about sites like this is when you see people in the comments sections saying things that basically amount to "look at those nerds". Funny thing is that if they could do this and make a living I bet they would, same thing goes for Twitch streaming and YouTubers. I don't know why you come to a gaming site to basically talk shit about gaming, I don't even watch eSports and I'm over here defending them. You are no better than the "nerds" you put down when you comment on a gaming site. Now excuse me as I get on my high horse and slowly ride off into the sunset.

@consolehaven: I think it is time to be honest, the people who actually complain about this stuff don't play the games, yeah people who play games complain about things that don't make sense for the character, but to complain about a pose that shows a character's butt is sad. You guys are talking about money but they are not going to make money from people who complain about sexism because they don't play games. I wouldn't say "get a life", I would just be honest and tell the people complaining that it is an optional pose and you don't have to choose it if you don't want to, but to take it out of the game is pandering to an audience that doesn't care about the game.

How about Red Dead on PC, Is that milking a franchise?

You have to give her some respect though, hitting that market of stupid gullible people pretty hard to the point where she makes millions of dollars for doing nothing but putting her name and likeness on a game. Genius. I really want to know why people are fans of her, I want to ask some of them one day. I really hope I get more diverse answers and not just "She's pretty", but I doubt that will happen.
