This is going to sound crazy, but hear me out. So today I'm playing online to get the trophy for getting to 1st dan. Now, I'm not really great at Tekken, and I never play online, so I'm having a rough time of it. In my match to level up to 1st dan I play someone with, no lie, 13 wins and 7 hundred and something losses. The only thing the guy did during the match was to back off and throw a kick every once and a while. Suffice to say, I beat him like a drum. Now, if I knew that he was just an unbelievably crummy player, I'd feel fine, but this is where it gets weird. I have a sister with cerebral palsy, and she occasionally plays Tekken with me, and plays just like that. I'm actually quite shaken inside with the thought that I may have destroyed someone playing with a disability. After the match, I sent him a friend request, which has not been accepted yet. I know this post is crazy and illogical; I guess I'm just looking for a way to assuage my guilt.
I'm surprised I've never heard anyone bring this up before, (I apologize if someone has), but I really want to be able to use My Xbox Mic to hold a conversation with one of my contacts on Windows Live Messenger. I thought it was really cool when they put the messenger into the Xbox, but without the ability to talk to my non-Xbox contacts with the mic, what's the point? (BTW, I know you can hook up a USB keyboard to the Xbox, but that would look like crap, be clunky as all hell, and I don't feel I should have to.
One of my early reasons for getting a 360 is I don't like the idea of motion controls. I bet they throw something in the next console like b11051973 said, but I can only hope they don't.
Assuming they made a console (a HUGE assumption), and assuming they purchase T2 (a not so huge assumption), that console would pretty much have the sports market nailed down. That would be a pretty nice advantage, I think. It's doable, but it would be a longshot due to gamers perception of EA, and I think the market is pretty much full with three consoles.
I believe there is no such thing as perfection, instead one must strive to get as close to perfect as can be. I believe Chrono Cross does this admirably.
I don't know if this topic has been done already, but I want to know what the best video game commercial you've ever seen. It may be pretty new, but I've gotta go with the Halo 3 commercial with the war diorama type deal, and Master Chief is being held in the air by a brute. When Master Chief arms the grenade, and looks up at the camera...goosebumps. (Go ahead, laugh all you want...OK, that was pretty pathetic, but I shan't tell a lie.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PvLqJA3A970
