Let's get real. Nowadays, Playstation is just a name... People buy it because of the name. "Playstation 3, sooo coool !!!" But in reality, that's all it is... a name and nothing more. The Xbox stands and delivers. Some opinions are baised and wee see changes because we want to, and not because they are actually there: "That shadow looks better on the PS3, although i can't make a difference..." So what if PS3 has inferior graphics ??? Next time, do a research in what u want to buy. Quality or just propaganda.
Good review guys. The pictures should give people an idea about the IQ. If you have a sharp eye and you've been working video cards quite a lot, it's easy to see and realize that the ATI X1950XTX has better quality than the GeForce 7900 GTX. If you pay attention you can see that the ATI video card is running a more complex algorithm in order to produce Anisotropic Filtering. In the pictures, you can notice that the X1950XTX is rendering far distant textures, sharper than the 7900GTX. You can see that textures tend to look a bit blurred on the 7900GTX. I'm talking about the textures that you can see far away. The result is the next one : The High end ATI card can produce a better IQ (image quality) and can maintain a higher score, or equal as the high end nvidia card.
