I have never played a game with a more dispicable PoS character in it before, ever.

He is literally the worst fictional person in the history of entertainment media.

Yet I absolutely love playing as him.

Damn you Rockstar! You've totally thrown my perception of my own morality in the air. Thankyou!

hmm... similar problem i stole a car spent e few grand modding it. was chuffed with the car and proceeded to drive it home to micheals, and save it in the garage. as i drove it into the garage i must have run over a quest marker cos the car disapeared and i started the next quest. after which the car was gone. it was at the begining of the game so it cost pretty much all of micheals money. there are other safe garages to purchace around the place which i think will be a better place to save your custom vehicles. but i think you have to be careful when you use them as might loose them.

Jasper_73

If you MOD a car either save it in the characters safehouse garage or save it in their store garage. Sometimes the car will stay where you left it during a mission, should you need to use someone elses, but not always.

Don't ever drive into a story mission marker with a modded car you deffinitely want to keep.

It's not ideal, but unless you do it by accident it really shouldn't be a problem.

As for the money, you'll get plenty more soon enough.

Now I understand this game is made mostly by Scots/Americans but you yanks have thick skin for putting up with this type of xenophobia. I couldn't imagine if this game was made about my people, there would probably be mass bannings (Not that Europeans don't ban enough games already)

Just want you guys to know not every Euro is a xenophobe (ie we don't all think like the developers of this game) it is fun though. I just don't care for all the hateful stereotypes. I always thought it was strange that R* North didn't just make gta games about their own people...do you think they feel bad about insulting so many people? Or do they just not have the guts to insult their own kind?

c0kemusheen

Where are you from OP?

Xenophobia? I'd hate to live in your country if they'd ban computer games because they 'make fun of your culture' ( like anything in GTA hasn't been done worse in the American media already, yet for some reason if someone else does it? )

Who are you to say the developers of this game are xenophobes anyway? Hateful stereotypes? Name one that isn't juxtaposed with a normal person of the same 'type', or isn't just basically a terrible person.

Rather presumptious of you to assume that just because the characters in a game about terrible low life people it is in fact the developers view of ALL people of that country. Yet your insinuating they are narrow minded and ignorant? Good one hiprtocrite.

What the **** did people expect when they started playing a GTA game? Good lord people, get a reality check, and a life.

[QUOTE="Baselerd"]

Are you really that distressed that the reviewer docked points for the depiction of women in the game? It's just ... like ... her opinion man.

5UPERMARIO

Its a "Biased" opinion.

Yet you fail to realise that is just your opinion, and a biased one at that. Lol.

Rename thread title to...

'Why gamers feel they are the absolute authority on other peoples opinions.'

They are trying for a review that doesn't split the sites audience down the middle and cause an endless backlash from either haters or fanboys.

They have a woman reviewing whos favourite type of games are fantasy games. Get the **** over it, this isn't an important part of your life in any-way-what-so-ever.

It's okay. I forgive you and your opinion, since you keep saying how sorry you are. That said, Crysis has never been about the gameplay. It's always been about the visual spectacle. Enemies always had a stupid AI, and to be honest, every single shooter out there except for FEAR has a brain-dead point A to point B AI. Welcome in the modern gaming world.

I have no idea whatsoever what your intentions were with this game other than be blown away by its graphics. Also, the core shooting mechanics are nothing short of excellent. Same goes with the outstanding sound design. And really, you're probably one of those guys who moans about how the AI returns to its behavior after spotting you. You'd prefer facing a pseudo-realist AI that will send reinforcement waves after waves until you're dead or couldn't be found within ten minutes of real time? I bet you do.

Finally, no one asked you to purchase this game. You prefer Crysis 1? Then play it for Pete's sake. Games are entertainment. They're meant to amuse and distract. They're not built from the ground up to entertain your own little laundry list of specifications.

Fandango_Letho

No one asked you to read this guys post and get all pissy about it either. lol.

To say the Crysis games are not about gameplay, and that it would be stupid to buy a Crysis game for any other reason than to stare at the graphics is pathetic, and a clear sign of the problems with the industry in regards to innovating gameplay. It's like the new PS4 launch titles, all anyone talks about is the graphics, not realising that these games are the same we've been playing for the past 8 years, the new Killzone being the prime example.

Perhaps his 'laundry list' of specifications is simply for the game to live up to and perhaps surpass the original, as games are suppossed to progress over time, yet Crysis never much has beyond the graphics. Your comments on the A.I only confirm that. You also presume to know a lot about the OP considering he's posted once. I'd then presume, considering you hold FEARs A.I in such high regard, that you haven't kept up to date with shooters within the past SEVEN years, and would thus take your opinions with a pinch of salt.

To actually attempt to bash the OPs points regarding gameplay with the argument that you shouldn't buy the Crysis games for anything but the graphics is just absolutely ridiculous imo. The fact you consider the completely standard shooting mechanics to be 'excellent' is more so.

In fact it is THE best example of what is wrong with the industry today I've come across in quite some time. Congratulations, you are the lowest common denominator. Well done.

Damn gamers are such divas sometimes. Just look at your complains guy, look at it. And then, go play Aliens: Colonial Marines. Your sky-high standards will lower a bit and, you know, you might enjoy AC3 for what it is. Not for what it isn't. In any case, fear not. You'll have yet another AC game to gnash on come november.Fandango_Letho

I tried to like AC3 for what it is, but it is a poor upgrade of two. In fact I'd go so far as to say it's a step backwards. No amount of added gizmos is going to change that. The main complaints brought up about 3, mainly it being glitchy and boring, are imo completely justified and overall the game completely missed what it set out to do and it's potential by a mile.

Comparing what should of been an extremely good game from every angle to a FPS that was clearly going to be archaic by todays standards is not what I'd call an argument in favour of AC3.
