@sladakrobot @Jawehawk-DK Or they could ohh iunno, maybe stop with this car DLC bullshit and focus on tweaking multiplayer or giving players a legit incentive to buy things on top of the $60 everybody forked out for the base game. Things such as new tracks maybe? Or new parts for specific cars to mod, or actually spend the time to get into the nitty-gritty details such as tire pressure adjustments in EVERY car, not just cars that they feel like adding it to.
I would have totally bought Forza Horizon Rally if it had more bang for its buck. That DLC gave me hope that T10 was slowly prying their heads out of their asses and releasing things other than more bloody cars!
Oh well only time will tell, I'm still not getting any next-gen console this year, the starting line-up as with every generation doesn't look like it's worth forking over $500 for.
Iunno, considering this is supposed to be the new day 1 system seller... Disappointed. You'd think that T10 would finally get out of this weird lack of weather, or at the very least dirt tracks, or day/night cycles, the last two were in Forza Horizon FFS.
Seeing that they could pull that stuff off along with the amazing physics and graphics this generation, I thought it'd be a no-brainer if not to build upon the day/night and dirt, to at least recycle it in the next gen.
Sorry Microsoft, I gave you too many chances... Halo is dead to me, and Forza isn't keeping up with Gran Turismo (At least THEY were willing to let go of the 60fps for sheer gameplay additions such as exactly what I mentioned earlier). As much as I hate to say it, the only exclusives that kept me from buying a PS3 this generation aren't cutting it for me anymore. GTA V is the last 360 game I'm buying until my LIVE runs out around Christmas, then I'm abandoning ship lol.
I prefer Consoles because of the lazy/easy "Don't Make Me Think" way everything from games and entertainment to User Interface and the convenience of the handheld controller you can sit down anywhere and play... :P
Seeing as how 360 and PS3 don't seem like DICE's main console focus this time around, BF4 as a base game will hopefully feel way more complete, on PS4 anyway. I had the privilege to clock in a fair amount of hours in BF3 on all platforms and I have to say, if I were to have started playing BF3 on PC, I definitely would have felt the game being as good as it gets, and wouldn't see Premium and all of the DLC as such a typical EA money grab.
As I played the majority of BF3 on Xbox 360, the whole time playing it the only thing going through my head since day 1 was "****, I could be killing twice as many people, on a twice as big of a map, with twice as many frames per second in a never ending ticket count server." That was where I was at fault because I knew full well that I am purchasing a new game on ancient hardware where the experience is arguably cut by half.
With this new generation coming, the hardware is easily capable of delivering the Battlefield experience I was dying to play on a console. And even though my current PC would probably run BF4 with ease, I just prefer consoles for gaming (I have my reasons lol). So I am actually pretty excited for what DICE brewed up for the next-gen.

But overall, the vanilla BF4 on PS4, X1, and PC are going to be better than what people are going to get with 360 or PS3. Even if all it is, is new maps, new guns and textures, I'll be fine with it because I'll be playing it on PS4 knowing the whole time that this is as good as Battlefield gets, this is the experience that DICE wanted to deliver on console but were previously limited by the ummm *cough* consoles lol, there isn't anyone stupid enough to argue otherwise but this is the internet. All comments are, are other people's opinions and insight from people other than yourself lol.
Back on topic, since I'm probably going to pre-order the PS4, everything other little gimmicky DLC or extra nose hair detail that they added are just a bonus. To reiterate, the base game will probably be good enough to actually pay more something new down the line and owners of any next-gen or PC aren't losing out on anything as bad as anyone playing it on 360/PS3 is. *WWHHEEEWWWW* coffee break
@Spartan-1657 @the_big_doggg Nope, we or at least I am not a fan of pre-ordering BF4. Seeing how one year after the release of BF3 how FUCKED OVER I got with n00bs just getting into the game and having access to *cough* '$60' worth of content. My favorite part was seeing how longtime supporters of Battlefield, me included, get a shittier deal by pre-ordering the game rather than waiting for a year, or 'just so happen to see BF3 on sale, so I decided to pick it up' CoD: 14 brodude fan... So yea, not happening.
