The problem is is that unless you get another Gerstmann/Kane & Lynch incident I doubt you'll be able to prove that these reviewers are paid off to give a good review. You may be right, you may be wrong, but there isn't much proof one way or the other at the moment.
Utilizing a website for gamers as a marketing tool is a great way to inform gamers that a product is coming. There are a lot of articles because Titanfall is what the market wants to see right now; the game is probably driving traffic which helps the site, brings up revenue, and allows them to continue to do what they are doing. Plus, if gamers are wanting information on this game then the site is catering to them in a great way. You may not be interested in the game, or you may be but think it's overkill, but I'm guessing all these articles are receiving hits and generating strong traffic.
The negative side of that is if they're influenced by this, which without proof we can't say with certainty that it does or doesn't happen. If you feel discouraged by the potentially bought-out reviewer though, shop around. There are plenty of other sites, or check out the Youtube scene as there are plenty of reviewers there. :)
