I apologize if this isn't the right forum.

I have a 1080p Samsung TV from 2009, the LE-40A558P3F to be exact. I'm wondering if it's time to update. I'll use the TV purely for video gaming. Smart TV features would be cool but not a reason for me to get a TV and 3D wouldn't really be used at all, although I know most newer TV's come with it now.

If I got a new TV, like the Samsung F6500, Sony W805 or w653 would I notice some improved picture, sound etc etc? As I don't want to buy a new TV to notice no difference.

My current TV has a bit of a blocky bezel by today's standards and a couple of extremely small, unnoticeable pressure marks but neither are enough to make me want a new TV based of purely these two things.

I much preferred the 360 pad to the DS3, so how does the DS4 compare to it? For shooters are the sticks much better, I'm not sure I could adjust to the sticks not being offset. Lastly, are the triggers on the DS4 as good as the ones on the 360?

Thanks!

Not a chance it's going to be between current and next gen. It's power is no better than 360 or PS3 so how could it possibly be better?

I defeated Clayton and sealed the keyhole to Deep Jungle. Since I now learned Red Trinity, it says I need to return to Traverse Town, as does all the guides I've looked at. Following a short dialogue scene with Sora and Donald arguing over who is pilot of the ship, the game quickly returned me to the World Map. It won't let me select Traverse Town, but I can go anywhere else. Is this a glitch? I'm supposed to go there next but it's not letting me!

You have to go to Wonderland then go straight to Traverse Town.

There's the retail and the download. I know that the download allows one to play nsMario U with the pro controller. If I buy the retail(preferred) can i do the same? Heirren
This is a silly question.

[QUOTE="Mozelleple112"][QUOTE="VelocityEvo"]

The two TV's are Samsung LE-40A558P3F 40" (2009 TV) and the Samsung F5300 39" (2013).

My point is that I get a nicer picture, no matter the game on my older TV. I appreciate that Call of Duty is low res and what not but on my old TV it looks how I expect it to look (also how it see it on every video), the lines are sharp and crisp, on my new TV everything isn't very sharp at all, the edges are almost kind of blurry. I've adjusted the sharpness and doesn't really seem to make a difference.

Well Samsungs old mid range / budget CCFL LCD tvs used to be excellent, while modern, LED edgelit TVs are quite mediocre.

Ive got a samsung plasma from 2009. its a low end 42" model and its complete garbage. goes up to 1080 but 720 is native. Rediculous.

So just a matter of getting a more expensive TV I guess? Anyone have any recommendations? Between £500 and £700 is the highest I can go to really.

I find I need to turn up the sharpness to around 70 / 100 for the game E.G. Black Ops 2 to look clean and not blurry. Do I have the sharpness too high and if so why does it appear almost blurry?

My old TV had the sharpness at 50 (same make, a Samsung) and it still appears sharper than my new one which is set much higher.

They both [QUOTE="MonsieurX"]F5300 (in USA) and F5000 (in Europe) is a low-end model without 3D and without Smart TV. It comes in up to 64 inches. F5400 :Cinema Smooth Smart TV Dual-core processor S Recommendation & AllShare Active 3D Smart Touch Remote Built-in WiFi

They both have SMART TV. Apart from that, that doesn't really answer the question, what does the F5500 have over the F5300?
