I got the game yesterday. Previously, I had only Need for Speed Carbon and Tony Hawks Project 8 on the PS3. I spent an hour or so looking few reviews for all of the PS3 launch games, and in the end I was stuck between Call of Duty 3 and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2007. I've been buying the Tiger Woods games since the 2003 edition, though I only have the 2006 edition currently, on PlayStation 2. But I decided I'll get that another time - I've got until the 2008 game is released.
In the end, I chose Call of Duty. Ash, my friend, said it was good. He has it on the Xbox 360. My other friends said it wasn't good. But then, one of them loves Pokemon and is a Wii fanboy, so I chose not to take his advice. I bought it and so far I'm happy with it. I get pretty mad with it sometimes, like when I get stuck and can't see where I'm going, or when I get killed by the stupid Nazis, but I've gotten on to the third chapter, and so far I really like it.
One thing I don't really like about it is the multiplayer. My magazine said that it was one to four players offline, and four to twenty four players online. I wanted really to get a multiplayer game, so I picked Call of Duty instead of Motorstorm. But then I found out that Call of Duty doesn't have offline multiplayer, and the online multiplayer I found really difficult to understand. I somehow ended up running around some town alone shooting brick walls.
I will post a review for the game when I've completed it. In about ten years.
