No. Their target market (weebs) is almost exclusively on the PS4. No one else cares about this game, so it doesn't make sense to invest in porting it right away.

AMD is killing the game. I really wish they can get back in the GPU space as well.

I bought a gen 1 Ryzen and am very happy (been with Intel for over 10 years). The price-to-performance ratio is unbeatable (I will upgrade when Ryzen 3 comes out). I can't see myself going back to Intel any time soon unless they completely revamp their lineup.

Their GPUs still stink though. Vega was a huge let down. Hopefully they can impress with Navi.

Streaming is the future of console gaming. Why waste millions manufacturing a hardware box when you can just stream your games at the highest possible graphics settings to a much cheaper device. I believe next generation will be the last traditional "hardware" console generation.

Answer:

Latency problem

pushing video content over the web vs interactive polygons are two RADICALLY different technical challenges.

if they can do it, and still keep quality then awesome, but many in the field do not believe it is possible for highly interactive + graphics games

There is no perceptible lag on modern streaming services if you have first world internet.

Modern consoles have a ton of input lag as is. They employ intense post-processing effects (both in-game and through the TV) in order to make 30 fps look playable. Streaming services don't need motion blur and frame interpolation, which actually results in less input lag overall.

If gamers do not like the online details for the Switch, do not subscribe to the service. At least they are not forced to use and pay for the service.

Gaming is not a God-given right, but a privilege.

Cloud syncing is a must. You'd be crazy not to pay for it. All it takes is for your Switch to break and you've lost all your save files. Nintendo knows this, which is why they're making this the only way to backup your save files. These assholes know how to milk us. Not sure why we're not called cows.

You can spend many hours gaming on any platform. Kind of a silly question.

Entitled gamer me wants free cloud saves and free online play. How about just offer the classic games library for the subscription price? And the voice chat thing is just too stupid to even waste a thought on.

All of that is free on PC. Expecting it to be free on consoles isn't entitlement. The cost of offering cloud saves and voice chat is a footnote in the annual report. The costs are virtually non-existent today.

@luxuryheart: listen. Nintendo has two options. Bring your online into line with the others or drop it. Not going to attack you for not wanting to pay, because who does? (PC gamer here). But if they are moving ahead these small steps are at least towards a functioning service. I will still laugh that they will force you to voice over a phone app, its just I am negative towards Nintendo often and I will give them credit for changing tack when they need to.

They're not bringing it in line with the competition with this though. They're just charging you for the same old garbage.
