I must be the only one that HATES when a bunch of good games come out right before Xmas. I have too much to buy for others that it becomes wallet stressing. I'd much prefer to get the holidays out of the way and have a ridiculous first quarter of 2011....Which is what Sony is setting up for me with LittleBigPlanet 2, Killzone 3 and MLB 11: The Show.
From November to March 2011 (4 month span) Sony will be throwing out LBP2, KZ3, MLB 11, GT5....which is more than PLENTY on top of the DJ Hero 2, NBA 2K11 and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit for multiplats I'm interested in coming out within the next month and a half.
Why do you people care about $10-$20 difference for a two player experience between the kinect and move? If you want motion controls those price differences aren't going to matter one bit to anyone on this forum. Here's a better question....is the $20 you save from kinect for 2 player gaming going to give you a better overall gaming experience than the Move? The short answer is a resounding No.
[QUOTE="hayato_"][QUOTE="Timstuff"]Move is being integrated into the regular games that people play like such as SOCOM 4, Killzone 2, Heavy Rain and Resident Evil 5. It's not just for gimmick games, it's a new control option for a lot of existing titles that can be played with a Dualshock 3. Kinect cannot be used this way because it has no buttons, there's way too much lag, and it uses up far too much of the 360's system resources.Bread_or_DecideAnd this is where Sony wins with MOVE. Its optional, but its not required. It has a "chance" at the market. Kinect is just Kinect. You won't be playing Gears with it or Halo. Plus MOVE only games are cheaper as well. The only problem I have is that the second controller isn't added. I would buy MOVE if it was. I'm more inclined to get the hundred dollar MOVE bundle than spend 150 on Kinect with zero games. Although you can't ignore that with Move you should also buy the nun chuck controller at 30 and then theirs the issue of wanting multiple sets of these controllers. I remember this well for the Wii and it ended up costing me a bundle.
I think the difference here though is a majority of the games WE play as hardcore gamers are generally 1-player titles with online multiplayer. Whereas Nintendo shoved 4 player titles down our throats making us feel like we had to buy 4 wiimotes and nunchucks. SOCOM, Killzone, Heavy Rain, Resident Evil.....none of these need more than 1 set.....even Tiger Woods you could probably just share 1 move controller between multiple players. MLB The Show is the only hardcore game announced thus far where you would need 2 sets. This whole thing about buying 4 sets of move remotes is overblown unless you absolutely need party games.
I hope Microsoft keeps this at $149.99 and the games are $59.99 so this thing fails miserably. Let Sony ruin good franchises with motion control and let Nintendo keep pumping out shovelware.

Sony isnt going to ruin good franchises because if you watched the E3 conference they said ALL hardcore games that have move support will also have dualshock support giving the player the choice of how they want to play. So if you want to play Killzone 3 with Move you can, but you can also still play with your dualshock.
Hmmm... No more takers? Some of the big hitters in each line-up, imo:
Microsoft XBOX 360
Crackdown 2 (July 6, 2010)
Halo: Reach (Sept 14, 2010)
Fable III (Oct 26, 2010) also on PC
Gears of War 3 (April 5, 2011)----------
Nintendo Wii
Metroid: Other M (Aug 31, 2010)
Kirby's Epic Yarn (Fall 2010)
NBA Jam (Fall 2010)
Epic Mickey (Holiday 2010)
Xenoblade (TBA 2010)
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (TBA 2011)----------
Sony PlayStation 3
Gran Turismo 5 (Nov 2, 2010)
LittleBigPlanet 2 (Nov 2010)
SOCOM 4: US Navy Seals (Q4 2010)
The Last Guardian (TBA 2010)
Killzone 3 (Feb 2011)
infamous 2 (TBA 2011)
Twisted Metal (TBA 2011)shinrabanshou
Don't forget MotorStorm: Apocalypse for PS3. Sony's list definitely interests me the most
Maybe because NFS Hot Pursuit is a new game and not one we've known about for 5 years...

Im going with this.
Also if you have lots of people that games in your home, your living room won't be littered with all these glowing balls, all you need is the Kinect and everyone can jump in.
gago-gago
It'll be littered with arms and legs!

Does it really matter? We're arguing a mere $10-$20 for two players to play Move vs Kinect. Let's argue the fact that you can actually play hardcore games with Move and not Kinect. Resident Evil 5, Killzone 3, MLB The Show, SOCOM 4.....cmon now, isn't it about the games? If people want either of these they're gonna buy them no matter the price. (See: foolish people buying the new 360 when they already own a 360)

So Forza 3 isn't a hardcore game now?
No it is.....but can you sit there and tell me you would prefer playing Forza on Kinect over a wheel or gamepad? .....You can almost guarantee the games I listed will be better with Move over the gamepad.
