[QUOTE="UltimoIce"]Ohhh, just saw you're a Husker fan too. BRO BUMP. You in Lincoln?-Toshy-
lol it's ff7fan2.

Yeah, still in Lincoln. Been awhile since we've hung out lmao. You still live in that apartment with zyro?

Bro! Why the name change? Naw, I've moved twice since then. I'm now in a new place...a really nice one. For sure, though. We need to kick it sometime. If memory serves, you are getting close to your 21 day. Next away game (Northwestern) I really need to have a few people over. Let me consider that. Zyro actually has his own big 10 community now, a spawn off from ESPN's boards. So we should have a huge, random ass Husker party.

[QUOTE="UltimoIce"]I am a Husker fan. Not a good year for us. But at least our offense should be a top 10 squad for many years. Now we just need a defensive coordinator that doesn't suck (amazing how in 4 years you can go from the top defense in the nation to one of the worst).-Toshy-
Hard to believe that Callahan's recruiting class would excel more at defense than offense.

Yeah no joke. But here's the difference. Callahan could recruit, but he had a pro mentality. He would take players and plug them in. So if they came in at a certain talent level, they stayed at that talent level.

Bo's philosophy is to get decent athletes that have a good character so he can coach them up. It works, but the kids we get don't have the intangibles they do, at say, Alabama or LSU.

So when he had the talent AND the coaching for those few short years, we were rolling on D. But good news is, we have some big time talent coming into the pool over the next couple years. If he can't win with some of the bad asses that are freshmen/seniors commits, I will doubt his ability to lead our team.

[QUOTE="PinkiePirate"][QUOTE="Spellingiscool"] Still, their stats are padded against scrub teams. Alabama would crush them, should they meet. GamerForca
I don't think so. Oregon's no-huddle offense will wear out Alabama's defense. No time to substitute. Expect a few fake injuries.

You don't understand the depth Alabama has on D if you really believe this.

Alabama is unbelievable. Especially how they reload. They are no '95 Huskers, but they are pretty damn close this year.

Thus, if all you Penn St and Michigan fans I see in here ever make it to Lincoln for game day, let me know. Drinks all around!

That sounds dumb.

Good argument bro! I can tell you are a master at the rhetoric arts.

Lol,.let me rephrase.

The materialistic view of the universe sounds really bleak and senseless.

Better. Just because I have a very scientific view of the universe, does not mean I don't have some sort of belief or respect for the paranormal and/or unexplicable. That's part of being a scientist. Sometimes you just have to throw your hands up and say, "I have no friggen idea". Sometimes the right conclusion is 'not enough evidence to reach a conclusion'.

Never going to say on here what I believe. It keeps me unbiased in arguments. Let's put it this way. I am a scientist. My mind is open and I make my own beliefs based on what I can feasibly conclude. And if I can't factually conclude it, I table it until I can one way or another.

Here we go with absolutes again. When it comes to existence, universal origins, etc, one should never claim to know for sure what the answer is. Preaching there is absolutely a God is just as ridiculous as preaching there is absolutely NOT a God.

I have little respect for organized religion, but I also have little respect for people that say there is absolutely no intelligent design as a fact. Be open to anything, because honestly, we don't know.
