Did she respect the game as a form of art though? Did she respect the hard work of all the people that worked their ass for years to make this game? Was she objective while doing her work? No. She goes like: "I get offended, this game deserves a 7". This isn't the first time she does it (GTA V, The Last of Us 2 and others). If she doesn't respect her own work and the site's readers, why should I?

Anything that Kallie Plagge (plague) considers a bad game, is worth checking out.

@hardwenzen: A good performance of this particular multi billion dollar company guarantees the possibility to continue playing my favorite games and new interesting IPs. I couldn't care less about counting pixels, but I'm glad the PS5 is perfectly capable of running 4K and 60fps anyway. But it's cool that you enjoy last gen games on 4K, 60fps, 120 fps or whatever. The old Halo, Gears and Forza's countless sequels sure look good on Series X. If I ever feel like playing them (very unlikely), I can just buy 'em on PC and get a better experience. 👍

You can keep your slightly more powerful console. Some of us prefer actual games. And each generation has been won by the console with better library. Just look at Series X. It was launched with zero exclusive games, LOL.

Back in the day I played to death the original trilogy, recently the N.Sane remaster, and never felt or had any idea of this "cheap deaths" thing. I always felt whenever I died from falling, I deserved it for doing something wrong. Seems like a weird "flaw" to point out.

8? Lol. Any game by any other company would get a lower score with a PORT like this (it's not a remake, it's not an HD upgrade). But Nintendo always gets away with the preferential treatment. In comparison, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy got a freaking 6, a trilogy remake made from scratch, with actual current gen graphics and everything updated to today's standards. Great credibility there, Gamespot.
