I haven't really followed steam sales before. Is it literally just repeat sales for the last few days?

So disappointed I didn't end up buying the DoW 2 collection. I bought the COH complete pack in the last flash sale because it was so cheap and I'd heard good things.. It's amazing, and DoW 2 is apparently very similar (made by the same developer), and my brother actually owns it so I'd have someone to play against. What are the chances it will go on sale again before the summer sales end?

Last Final Fantasy game I enjoyed was FF8. I'm holding out for FF15, but we'll see. Blizzard have World of Warcraft as their only claim to the RPG genre, and it's an MMO. With that said, vanilla WoW and BC gave me the best memories I've had gaming-wise. But I'd consider WoW a role playing game, more so than most given you have as much control over your class/build as you do in most traditional RPG's, but I've been really disapointed with the direction WoW has taken over the years, and given such a decline seen in their only "RPG", I don't think Blizzard is in contention.

Go back the better part of a decade and Bioware was king. Given the direction of Mass Effect and Dragon Age, they're competent RPG developers now. I rate Bethesda very highly despite peoples critiscms for their games, particularly the bugs. Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim and Fallout 3 are the only Bethesda games I've played, but all were fantastic (though I personally only really enjoyed Morrowind and Skyrim, though I can acknowledge the other two were great achievements also). CDProjekt Red made two of my favourite games of all time. I can't say much else other than both The Witcher and The Witcher 2 were both amazing to play. However, that's only two games from the same IP so I'd say they need to release a few more games before I can say they're undisputedly the best. So from this list I'd have to say either Besthesda or CDProjekt Red.

I'd also like to nominate From Software, who develop the Souls series (Demon's/Dark Souls), and if we're counting dead studios, then Black Isle Studios and Troika games also spring to mind (the former seemingly revived).

The Xbox has been my core console for the past two generations. But Sony has won. It's over. GG.

Funny how everything becomes horrible and the death of gaming when it becomes mainstream. Here's hoping games like the Souls series don't become to too popular, I'd hate for them to magically become terrible.

It looks pretty good so I just bought 2033 to see what the IP is like before shelling out for Last Light.

Just bought one today myself. I've had Fire Emblem Awakening preordered for ages (PAL) and finally got around to buying the system for it seeing as the games released next week here. I'm just trying to find good quality screen protectors for it now. Is Hori still the go to brand? Anywhere recommended where I can purchase legit ones?
