lol...

The things I can tell you about GameStop employees would make your gamer's skin crawl. Mwahaha...

The guy who didn't understand you had the LE version of Prince of Persia? He's not a demon, he's either:

A. New guy.

B. Guy no one likes and he doesn't get enough hours therefore he has absolutely no idea what he's selling half the time.

C. The douche, he doesn't care, he doesn't listen and he just wants to stand around and do nothing.

The Devil Survivor anti-love? Probably either a Megaten hater, or he had someone complain about it and say it sucked sometime before you came around to purchase it. As for the Orange Box thing, a lot of people who work at GameStop's are fanboys or even more hideous, people who were hired for their work experience rather than game knowledge. Sure, they got hired to be fair and kind to the workforce, but when they attempt to talk like they know what they're talking about it ends up being pretty fail.

As for people complaining about trade-in's, they're lazy idiots. Most GameStop managers pump the words "Trade! Trade! Trade!" into their employee's heads. GameStop is genius because they have people trade in their copy of God of War for $2.00 and then they resell it for $17.99. They love trades, it's a chance for somewhere around 6x profit. And also, if you talk to the District Manager about an employee that's being a douche, that won't do much. It'll result in a slap on the wrist, not any punishment. If you really wanna lay into your local GameStop minions, you hold the ultimate power to do so. You know how they tell you to go to the website and fill out the survey thingy? Be lethal when you do so. Every single negative feedback gets sent to the District Manager. If you manage to wrack up enough of negative ones about the same employee eventually someone is going to be looking for a new job. No joke, those things are deadly serious. Managers get ranked based on their postive percentage, and if they make the yearly cut they get a pay bonus. Negative website feedback rules their worlds. xD

If you want any more tips on how to get your GameStop employees to be more congenial feel free to message me. I worked as an Assistant Manager for years until I was fired because I discovered our DM was getting frisky with one of our married employees, I know all their secrets. ;o

Should I get Shadow Hearts: Covenant or Devil Summoner 1? I plan to buy both, but I don't know which I should get first.

TSNAKE617

Ok, I've played both so here's my opinion.

Devil Summoner is super-easy and takes about 20 hours to beat. Shadow Hearts: Covenant is an amazing RPG that blends so many different high-class RPG elements that it boggles the mind. If you've played the first Shadow Hearts, buy Covenant first, you won't be disappointed and it's probably by far one of the best improved sequels you'll ever see. If you haven't played the first Shadow Hearts, buy Devil Summoner for an unusual experience that you can resell at a decent price once you're done, or keep in your collection and watch the value rise like all good Atlus games. Quality-wise though, Covenant is a better game, it's just limited in that it's a direct sequel. There are enough flash-backs to give you the gist of the story, but you'll feel like you're missing something if you play it without reference.

Yeah, it's pretty humorous, if you're nerdy it'll give you a good laugh. Now, I know the game is pretty hard to find nowadays so don't invest in it if it's some exorbitant price, it's like a $15-20 game max since it's not very long for an rpg. The story is pretty fun too, but not epic or deep. I'd give it a 'meh' rating to be honest.

[QUOTE="hydralisk86"]I heard this from a gamestop clerk, but there is a chance they will release a magenta dsi. PoisoN_Facecam0
gamestop :roll: might as well of heard it from a talking pig..

Hey I worked for GameStop once and sometimes they can be right you know. The quality of service depends on whether or not they hired someone who knows which end of a 360 has a power button or someone who takes the UMD discs out of the plastic covers. As for colors I like the light blue but I can't make myself actually care about the colors yet. Nintendo uses color choice in the US as a way of re-stimulating sales. Once the initial rush wears off on the current color waves they'll scrounge up a new set to get people hyped. Orange would be awesome simply because it's an underrated color with systems. As for holiday, DS's always sell out during the holiday's period, Nintendo doesn't really have to bring out a new color then unless they really do want mass DSi hysterial during the biggest shopping season all year... Yeah, they probably love mass hysteria.

DS= Versatile. There's a little bit of something for everyone. I play anything and everything when I'm in the mood and I have to say I played Picross on DS for months it seemed, and then I played Lunar Knights, and then I turned around and dabbled in some The World Ends With You. Every time I feel like a new game the DS will throw something at me, sometimes it sucks and makes me cringe inwardly, but other times I'm totally thrown back by how much awesome developers can squeeze into those cartridges. In the end, as my opinion is with any console purchase, sit down on a site like GameSpot and look up the genres you like. If you see those genre's matching with the DS, buy it, if not then just don't. Quit listening to what bias people tell you and make the decision for yourself. You'll find yourself surrounded by more stuff you actually like if you do.

Overrated: Alice in Wonderland (Sorry, I can't be amused with something that doesn't give me that childish grin when I watch it, Alice just made me cringe most of the time.), Peter Pan (Wendy and her brothers were intolerable most of the time, it killed it for me.), Pinnochio (IMO: Pinnochio was creepy.) Underrated: Hunchback of Notre Dame (Dude, they say hell in this movie, and it was pretty intense most of the time, it was one of the more mature Disney fares.), High School Musical (It should have never graduated from the made for TV movie box on the Disney Channel.), Enchanted (It's definitely for little girls and we adults shouldn't diss on it so much...). Commenting on the Pixar thing, here's an argument for you. Pixar originally set up an arrangement with Disney, they would pump out films for Disney since they didn't have a 3D studio, and Disney would take care of the marketing and production costs. So on this note Disney may have the right to Pixar characters but it's about the same as how Microsoft can tote the Halo franchise, they never made those characters but they published it. So if you think that every published game character belongs to the publisher and the original developer has no right to it you can say that Disney owns all the Pixar movies up until Cars (I think? There was a set # of films to make in their contract.) and Pixar has no right to their movie IP's. By the way, Pixar has recently been helping Disney with their 3D films though, which is why Bolt had a lot of charm.

It felt like just recycling the first few basic theories. He wrote a book and all, but this kind of stuff needs more than just simple flash animations and annoying sound effects, it definitely should have shown some sort of equation. I felt like he was just going through loops and hoping I wouldn't notice that I'd seen that particular line between two points before... >.>;

If you're a senior I really don't care if you cheated on a single test because what counts is your ending grade which is shared with tests, classwork, homework, projects, etc. All that matters in high school is your GPA and your various college entry tests, which is why nothing will come of this. If you were cheating in college the school might give you a grave punishment, but as a high school student it's unlikely you'll get much more than a slap on the wrist if the counselor even bothers to take the girl seriously. A good idea might be for you to visit the counselor and ask him if there's any way he can let you retake the test so that she'll stop 'harassing' you. Harassment is a smart man's way of saying 'bullying.' Everyone has the capacity to be a snitch, people will snitch when they're bitter with life, they'll mindlessly babble when they want to keep an audience and they'll run their mouth if they're just plain dumb. If you don't want to go for the harassment tactic, you can try another more elementary school one. Say that the girl is upset because you wouldn't let her copy from you, or if you don't sit close to one another say that she's upset because she confessed to you and you said no. Girls are volatile things and high school teachers know this, you can mess with her just as easily as she messed with you. Or you could ignore it and let her complain to everyone about it until they don't care anymore, without some sort of proof nothing will happen. The worst thing they can do is force you to take the test again which shouldn't matter if you didn't cheat, if not, study up.

I never got carded in Europe, or for cigarettes when I was eighteen. It's weird that now that I'm older I get carded for going into bars all the time. Sometimes you get real jerks too. I once was using my old ID because I bent my current one, when I tried to go into a bar the guy got all huffy that it was expired and sent me out, when I went to my car and got my current ID he totally got all pissy and threw a fit and didn't want to let me in. It was like he was offended that I came properly prepared, he still wouldn't let me in so I got my passport and he tried to tell me it wasn't valid ID. I understand that bars have to be careful because of the fines, but having a bad day and taking it out on random people is dumb. ;_;
