It should have been a substitute for the dual shock controller, there is no reason why it shouldn't work with every game with little to no effort from the developers. I cannot stand analog sticks, I don't play console games really, GTA V was the only reason I got a console and I just hate the sticks. They're too slow, often when I want to aim fast my character takes ages to turn, especially in tight spaces I feel like I'm fighting him to get him where I want. I just end up having to use the lock on aim but even that isn't a great solution as it locks on to stuff you cannot see or the wrong target and ends up getting you killed too. Shooting while driving is the worst, I just don't get how people put up with these sticks for so long... I just want mouse like movement where I can feel like I have perfect control of my character and can aim on anything in a split second and can move around fast and freely without having the awkward situations in tight spaces. The Move controller could have sorted this for the PS3, sadly Sony just ditched it, most of their attempts this generation have been poor, the online is really crap and unstable and the Playstation store is not only a laggy mess, but it's over priced and like 3 times as much as retail.
Crazy... You can use it without a TV, when you've got a CD inside you just press X and it plays and then you can skip from track to track using the buttons or pause, you don't need the TV for any of it, really simple menu design.

Like much better than the dedicated system I have for playing cds/records and other old shit. I couldn't believe how fast the think seeked, it was instant and the sound quality was just amazing, could hear things I couldn't hear on my other system. I put it up against the PS3 and the PS3 took a fraction of a second to seek, it just wasn't able to keep up with the original Playstation. Has CD tech become worse or something?
For some reason they've made vehicles stronger but they've made you weaker, so you can't totally destroy your vehicle any more or go crazy like you could in GTA 4. The damage seems toned down it either explodes or just has a few dents and panels missing here or there, in GTA 4 you could totally crumple all the car it was so amazing, not the case in 5. You get killed so easily, so many times I've wanted to have a fun crash and my character just dies. Even peds die quickly, they take one or two punches or a slight tap from a vehicle and die, they don't keep getting up like 4, so you cannot constantly beat them for fun. I've just wanted to have fun running from the cops and you're dead so fast now, sometimes I just want to crash so I fly through the windscreen for fun, however you cannot do that now because you will die. I hope all this gets tweaked because they've not only ruined the amazing driving physics of 4 by making them control too lose and hard to topple over for fun, but they've taken away the fun of messing around too. Like why does the camera go to wasted and respawns you so quick? Let me see my character tumble about after they've died and respawn when they've stopped moving like in GTA 4!
Trying to play GTA V but the framerate is so low, it makes me feel sick looking at it, like watching an old movie where you can see the frames... like it is at 25-30fps and quite often it drops below that when there is a lot on screen. The other thing is how slow analog sticks are, they just make it so hard to look around, using a mouse and keyboard I can look anywhere I want instantly and manipulate the camera so quick and it's a joy to play GTA on PC. I just hate the controller, especially the PS3 controller, it's so bad, I use the 360 one for some racing games on PC but my god the PS3 triggers just make my fingers cramp they're so horrible to use. Definitely going to quit playing and wait for the PC version.

i agree. i couldnt care less about next gen right about now. and i know someone might respond to me and say "it will wear off" and "you're exaggerating" but i disagree.. current gen consoles always seem to surprise me with what they can achieve. games like the last of us and gtav makes me think we dont need next gen consoles just yet There are no good games for them at launch... the One has Forza and Dead Rising but that's it really, everything else is multiplatform.
