The Tim is back. For good. And this time I'm here to stay.
I'm sure that everyone was a little confused as to the last journal entry that was posted.
I was involved in a car crash / fire. My cousin was driving, and a guy pulled out from an alleyway right in front of us. She crashed square into the side of him. The car was an instant right-off and we were admitted into hospital. I was suffering from a sprained ligament and very close to a fractured hand. I got lucky however, compared to what could've happened. My cousin merely suffered minor shock.
I consider myself to be very lucky. Many people close to me have perished in car accidents, and as such I do not trust cars anymore. One thing I must say, however, is that I must praise the invention of seatbelt. My nurse said it saved my life.
However, I got out a lot earlier than I anticipated. Thanks for your support in advance,
Sorry to inform you that John won't be back for quite a time.
The reason is something John doesn't wish to disclose at this time.
Well I am on holiday. Cya all later, in a week's time.
I've been suffering from a writer's block over the last couple of months, but I've made a bit of a breakthrough by finally completing a guide for a PlayStation 2 game over on GameFAQ's. It's on Hard Hitter Tennis, and it's a Player and Court Guide. Tell me what you think of it.
I have also got updates of this guide, a book and a guide on DRIV3R in the pipeline.
I know I haven't been on GameSpot for ages, but I just can't find the time. A lot of things have been happening at home. I am also doing some writing - so most of my PC time is used up with that.
I'm sorry guys. I'll try to come on more.
I haven't made a journal entry in a while, and I've decided to incorporate all my junk of the week here.
I bought Star Wars Episode I: the Phantom Menace off of eBay today, for (IMO) a great price of £1.00. It was, however, on video, but I'm not complaining. I actually haven't bought any of the Star Wars films, and these will be a great addition to my collection. I should also be getting some of my favourite movies on video soon including:
- Day After Tomorrow
- Johnny English
And hopefully some others.
School was awful - report and exam time. I passed English F Grade, which is a great achievement for someone in my year, so I'm proud of that. However, my maths grades are slipping and my parents are worried. Parents Night was as strict as my report though, so I saved myself from a grounding.
I am going through a bit of a writers block at the moment, and my Lego Racers review isn't helping simply because I'm finding it hard to review. I've had plentiful ideas of books to write but I have lost most of my time and certainly my motivation. I really want to have my review done soon and hopefully start on Ipsilon - my new book.
Well that's all from me. I will however, leave with a statement that sent shockwaves through my heart. Sir William Graham Tell was a great man. He was a judge at the Supreme High Court and was even very close to American presidency. He weighed 320 pounds. Guess what fact people bring up more.
After having my Mod status ripped from me for no logical reason, and formally being asked to leave by troubled administrator --Wolf--, I have officially left Forest Hangout along with some of my best GameSpot friends, such as:
Whyamifat - due to this.
And so many more. I started GameSpot at Forest Hangout - But I certainly won't end it there.
Let this thread be the final nail in the coffin for FH.
R.I.P Forest Hangout. We all loved ye.
I'm back for good now (or so it looks) as my computer's been fixed. Wahey to that :D. Thanks for all the comments to my last entry by the way, very appreciated.
On another note, Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith premieres in Scotland today and I'm going to see it tonight! I'm so excited, it looks like a right stunner. In the meantime, here's a few pics to whet your Star Wars appetite.
General Palpatine. Who is he really?
A great Star Wars parody. *Thinks* LoZ: SW? If only...
The infamous General Grievous.
Anakin. But is his destiny of terrifying prospect?
To change the subject, my Driver 2 guide got deleted in the computer reboot, so that's been scrapped. I might be doing one on Rige Racer Type 4 soon.
