Picked up my preordered copy. Of course, no soundtrack. Anyone else have this problem with Gamestop/EB?

No. God no. **** no. With only 1 console there's no competition and only 1 plan to follow. Did you not game through the 80's and 90's when there wasn't much competition?

Personally, I praise it quite a bit. Not only a damn fine game, but the controls are more fun to use than PC FPSs. It's true that PCs have a slightly higher accuracy, but it's just not as fun. Competitive players obviously want something that is fast and accurate and can forgo immersion and realisitc application. Once you take multiplayer out of a PC FPS it's really not that much fun after playing MP3. Although, that's just my opinion. I'm sure there are plenty differing opinions.

It's doing so poorly because it doesn't have anything more than a marginal advantage (if any) over it's direct competition, the 360. It has a lot of the same games, and often costs more. It doesn't have an established user base so it's never going to ever sell incredibly well, and on top of that Blu-Ray is still really new technology and still needs work before it becomes truly viable as a medium. So really it doesn't do so well here because there's no real reason for it to do well.

I agree. It is pretty fun, but way overhyped. There's a lot to be fixed still, but it has the potential to be really awesome.

It may have the best controls, but probably won't be the best FPS unless there's some really cool **** they're not telling us.

It being a success depends on what goals were set for it.

I don't like the reasons why the Wii version got a lower score... Waggling gets too tyring? I have yet to play a wii game other than Wii Sports/Wii Boxing that gets me tired...loco145
They did have pretty lame excuses. The Wii version has scored better on other sites too, and said the controls were very well done and responsive. Does the Wii reviewer drum for Def Leopard or something? ...........too soon?

The TC is basing all of this on the fact that, in essence, it's unrealistic that someone cannot perform 2 actions such as turning and shooting at the center of the screen. However, in contrast, with the targeting recticle fixed in the center one cannot aim without moving their head. It's essentially like being in a neck brace that is connected to your weapon. Also somepletely unrealisitic. The Wiimote, for me at least, is much more realistic because my head and hand operate independantly of one another and allows for greater immersion because it more closely mimics my behavior. Not perfectly, but more closely than dual analog or even keyboard and mouse.
