I'd like to add if something needed changing it's this commenting system- (I could be here all night saying why but we all know anyway). See the twt/fb- on this site- it's a deal, which is why it won't go away.
lol, well, no point in complaining -other than for those that need to vent. I've already been coming here less and had friends leave completely- I've been less active because the site keeps changing -for the worse, & that's why some of my friends have moved onto greener pastures. I wouldn't be quick as some are to jump on the staff members, since it was probably the suits that looked at numbers and made the call and sent them here like a scapegoat into this den of disapproval, and there's no way they can agree with you, which some very well might, or it's their job. So try to be sensitive- do you actually think every gs employee likes this? Besides, it's a done deal, yeah of course it should've been handled well, which it wasn't, but it's not going to change now- doesn't matter how much we dislike it. (Just really feels like to me that some out of touch suit(s) is at the root of it all- it's like ea in game journalism lol- and provokes same reaction). I'm level30, I don't see me getting back to that in a site like this and I have too many games to relist if that gets wiped. I wish they didn't ditch uploading pictures as well, as I used them for screenshots to support my reviews/game wallpapers. Not much left.
If they wanted to do something actually helpful, fixing the commenting system and blogging would've been a nice start and gone a long way with people. It's not just me, I can't count how many times my friends have said the same thing to me- doubt it's something gs doesn't know about.
As for 'this'.. I read the whole thing, I read nothing that made me happy to hear about. I just thought ' you can live without gs right?' answer is an increasingly easier 'Yes'. I'd love to comment more but it's early here and I'm still half asleep. I used to stay here and hang out catch up on things but it's becoming less of the place that made me comfortable and feel welcomed to do so.
On PC, I tried the demo, and the the camera is very annoying, how it moves makes me dizzy/naseus, I had to turn the mouse down to about a 2 before it was tolerable. I think this game's occassional suspense would've been strengthened if it was 1st person. It's more immersive. *1st person= I'm firing this weapon/fighting, 3rd person= this image on my screen is firing/fighting.
@leviathanwing LOL oh I assure you, I'm hardly the only one, you just won't catch them here because they're too busy avoiding the page like I always have until I saw someone else hosting it.
Besides, what's it matter to you? Does it stop you from coming here? Someone can say Shaun looks like a serial killer with no offense meant on their part but can't say something similar about her w/no offense meant?? -get over the double standard and stop being so easily offended.
@polishfish I can think of a handful of contacts I have here that just get sick at her accent. Not much for it myself, another reason Shaun is a nice change, first time I've seen a whole one of these. To each their own of course, but many would disagree with you- and me too I'm sure.
I have to admit gs, I've not spent much time here in the past couple weeks or so, you can go thank Gabe/Steam for that :)
One game I've not seen 'a lot' about but am still looking forward to spending some time with is Primordia. Got that on a sale and it really seems interesting. Most people that have played it really liked it and I hope I do too. Got a few others need finishing first. (41 games loaded and playing about 4 regularly- plus I have some games loaded (casusal) for when my mother comes over to visit, she's the only one I let use my PC ;) ).
@etryus Well, I'm not a male, and I prefer him- though usually I like having some of the ladies report more- but between these two, I'd pick him, it's not even close.
