Did no one enjoy the original Saga Frontier? I mean i feel like im the only person on this planet that liked that game and this seems to channel the same structure.

@misty_falls: "xeno" doesnt make zenogears a predecessor to this.

This series barely has any ties to xenosaga, which itself only had very VERY ambiguous ties to xenogears

Honestly you are playing damage control in your own head, and statements against what you perceive to be a near perfect jrpg put you into hostile mode.

Anticipate and get excited for whatever you want, but leave your blind passion to yourself.

@zrex2metagor because final fantasy has a global appeal, its not some niche NIS title or tales entry.

Look at the cast of characters from the past ff games, it was nice because for whatever reason they were always able to capture the japanese appeal while making the leading characters diverse enough to appeal to a wider audience.

suggest you have no idea as to what made the series shine in the past.

vagrant story, tactics and 12 were also jrpgs, and nothing about them screams j rpg tropes
