Congrats on looking like a regular guy. And way less goblin like than your regular OT cave troll hippie.

Why can't we have a separate politics or religion forum? If sports has to be in a separate forum, then they should be too. Whatever it takes to get them the hell out of this one.

[QUOTE="TacticalDesire"]

[QUOTE="Fightingfan"] I have a long torso, even if I get six I still have that bottom ab fat :/ My problem is I'm already fairly lean, and going into a calorie deficient state is hard when you're already fairly lean.Fightingfan

I wouldn't worry about it. 6 is plenty good.

It's still too hard; I can't lower my calories anymore, I'm gonna have to do more cardio, and it's not wasy trying to implement that with my limited time and weights.

You're just being impatient. From your description it sounds like you're around 13-14%, which means your leptin levels should still be alright for the most part. Metabolic slowdown is inevitable, but you just have to keep the deficit slight and consistent. I wouldn't expect things to get really out of wack until 8-9% (which most recreational lifters will never achieve)

Nope, let me give you soem advice, join a gym.

pushups only works the chest and triceps and alittttttttttttle delts but thats about it, you train your abs more my standing upright the entire time, want really great abs do crunches and twisters, start with 3x15 in perfect form. (you can even do this at home)

and eveyrone has a sixpoach already, wodner how all those skynniy guys got sixpacks while they have no muscle at all? Low Bodyfat percentage, you need to have around 7% for abs to be visable.

But having abs while being skinny doesnt count, like big boobs of a fat girl, its just not the same.

So what you do is you join a gym, get a good routine, (bodybiulding forums can help you with that) or you can make an appointment with a instructor at your local gym.

Dont forget that you also need to eat right, lots of proteins is a must while maintainig a low calorie intake, id say eating is about 80% of your hards work combined with enough sleep to give you muscles time to repair

If you are underweight like I was you need to force yourself to eat more, Back in my pday i pushed myself so hard i trew up (nor recommended, waste of good protein lol)

I have been bodybiulding for 1 year now and i have abs and i pakced on more muscle eveywhere else on the body (yes even legs) its way more impressive and you feel good about yourself too. (and the girs love it!)

So what are you waiting for, it may only takes as few as 4 hours a week and in 6 months everyone aroudn you can see you ahev changed.

Start now and in the summer you will already be bigger and i you eat right you can even have that sixpack whiel avoiding skinny arms legs chest back legs, great summer body is waiting for you, you just need to unlock it.

edit: if you are overweight you need to shred calories you will need to eat right and do soem cardio, its not going to eb easy but its worth it i promise you that.

Most people who start bodybiulding though stop in their first month cause they dont see enough progress or they just dont want to anymore, this si the time to push trhougj, its a mental game, eat right and lift hard sleep liek a baby, its worth it in the long run.

Soemthing i will always regret is that I started lifting when i was 20 and a half, i wasted so much time, i could be a greek god by now if i only started to lift earlier.

[QUOTE="TacticalDesire"]

[QUOTE="Mozelleple112"] This. You can crunch as much as you want for years and not see any results if your diet is poor. A good diet for just a few weeks and you'll see great improvements even without doing a single abdominal exercise.Mozelleple112

My diet isn't that great tbh, and I have a six pack lol.

That isn't too uncommon among ectomorphs, I know plenty of people who often eat burgers, chocolate, crisps, coke etc but were born skinny and still have their sixpacks. Once you start going on a proper bulk diet (eating 6 HUGE meals per day) like I've done for the past year its pretty much impossible to not lose your sixpack, even if you're a hard gainer, but as I said.. 8 weeks of a nazi diet (eating nothing but 6 meals of fish and broccoli a day) with daily cardio and 2 days of a sprint program a week will quickly bring it back as it was :)

6 meals a day. lol. Ectomorph lol. You know some basics, but get educated.
