This doesn't necessarily mean the end of the case; there's always a chance that it will go to SCOTUS. But, then again, the court could uphold the Ninth Circuit's decision and that would be the end of it. This is a bad sign for the used market. There are plenty of legitimate used sellers other than the price gougers at Gamestop, like Amazon and Ebay. If publishers want us to buy their games new, make better games. Stop releasing the same repetitive dross every single year and give gamers a reason to be excited for upcoming releases.
I actually thought the story was one of the game's weakest points. Very generic, cliche dialogue, especially after the original's briefing screens. Not to mention some minor plotholes or plot elements that were placed for the sake of convenience, but I guess they'll be 'explaining' those in the expansions. I enjoyed the game- single player missions, challenges and multiplayer are very fun. The only lackluster part was the story, which is surprising, considering all the work and effort Blizzard has always placed in their single player narratives.
