This is one of the weakest, obviously pro-Sony cop outs I have ever seen on this site. And THAT is really saying something.
MONTH ONE sales are always the peak for a game. Consumers are looking for impressions for what they are buying NOW. Not in November. If this is your stance, then I fully expect a headline/PSA from Gamespot that says "Do Not Buy Gran Turismo Sport until November" Warn your viewers that what they are buying is incomplete and that they should wait.
Do THAT, and I'll be impressed.
I'll just have to try and navigate the ridiculous number of Destiny 2 articles Gamespot runs with. Ya, noticed the imbalance there as well, but hey...makes Sony and Activision happy, right?
@King_Pazuzu: That isn't what is happening here. You're generalizing the issue. Even if it was the mandate...telepresence, web conferencing, VoIP/Video. I mean, come on now.
Offshore software development is done via networks, cloud storage, etc. The ESA's statement is almost wholly irrelevant to themselves and the policies going into place have no impact on them. Wondering if Meryl Streep wrote that out for them. Seems to be an equal amount of cluelessness attached.
"Entertainment" industry statement. Pretty much what I expected. Pleased to see the comments left here, and completely unsurprising that Gamespot would link to protest coverage rather than something balanced. It's what you get out of California.
How is it a "Big" system update when we know nothing about what it adds, if anything? World class writing as usual around here. Continuing to drive irrelevancy. But hey...gotta get those clicks! That's more important than content.
