They always have traps in games from Bethesda esp. Fallout 3, New Vegas and Skyrim.

Just be patient and the traps are just a minor annoyance.

Great review, loved the RE Jill sandwich reference lol. As a player of the very first Resident Evil back in 1996 and it's subsequent sequels and other games such as Silent Hill, Amnesia:TDD and Alien Isolation I love games that are not only scary, atmospheric and moody but creepy and they have to have a decent story and characters to keep me playing. The Evil Within seems to be lacking this. The games creators focused on everything except story and characters. They should release a DLC to flesh the game out more, no pun intended.

Anyway back to playing Amnesia and Alan Wake...

@pa_amb_tomaquet Good observation, I love Minecraft though, Fallout 3, New Vegas and Skyrim plus all other open world games like Stalker and Day Z, can play them all on my Dell GX620 P4 PC with an HD Radeon 6450 video card btw :)

@Eckkovoid @ZOD777 You have to use not only your mental abilities and brain but also hands, fingers, arms, eyes, and gaming does get your blood pumping i.e. heart and blood pressure plus look at wii sports, so...
