alright first of all i know this is gonna bring a lot of fanboys and second i know one is a TPS and one is a FPS but i wanna know what your guys opinion is on which will be a better game overall in sales, reviews, graphics and all of that personally i think gears is superior to resistance in pretty much every way because it was very innovative and the new one looks like its bringing new things to the table and i have played both games and i thought resistance was just average.
i dont see the xbox dying out like the old one because the first xbox was microsofts first console and they hadnt built a base and now the xbox 360 has gotten popular worldwide with games like halo and gears of war and i definitley think it is gonna hang on with the PS3 and the 360 is selling a lot more than the PS3 right now so we will see what happens.
yea seriously resistance wasnt even that great i mean there was nothing innovative about except for a couple of weapons it wasnt really that different from halo and gears took the cover system to a whole new level and gears 1's 8 man multiplayer beat resistance's 40 man multiplayer what makes you think that resistance's 60 man multiplayer will beat gears of war 2's 10 man multiplayer its quantity over quality.
Resistance is garbage and i have played both gears is a classic and all the problems that it did have with its story and multiplayer are being fixed and a 300ft boss isnt that impressive they put that in so you would be too distracted to look around at the dull environments.
