Can't believe they are charging $40 for this. at $20 it would be reasonable, at $10 it would probably fly "off the shelves." I've played the demo and its definitely fun and flashy, but there is hardly anything close to enough substance to legitimize the purchase at $40. I do love seeing Ken and Ryu mix it up with so many different characters from so many different places,.... but again, no where near worth $40 if there was more strategy to it, it would be worth more, but the gameplay depth is too shallow. I may pick it up if.when the price goes down.

This is why Miyamoto is my hero. The only one in the industry to speak up or out against the copy -paste video game industry we are seeing these days. If you look at his history, all of his games have been unique enough to keep Nintendo floating even through the Wii years, lol. Don't miss-understand me I'm not a die hard fan of Nintendo but I am a die hard fan of Mr. Miyamoto. It was never his choice to continue pumping out the same titles all he did was create their initial inception and every time he did it changed the way we look at and play video games because of the unique experiences they offered at the time.

P.S PLEASE get Patrick Stewart to do the narration again, that guy is AWESOME!! I would pay to hear him read the phone book. His voice is the best for narration of any kind IMO (and of course it doesn't hurt that he was Capt. Picard ;-) )

Awesome, I loved the 1st one and the 3ds Lords of Shadow is also very cool/fun. I love the 3d look and feel of it although it still plays like a 2d Castlevania, good stuff! Also glad to hear they will be re-imagining a few things for the 2nd console iteration. They have done something rare here and appeased both the old (die-hard) Castlevania fans as well as the new ones and all the while adding more to the cadre. Good stuff, thanks game devs. :-)

That's cool, I can wait. I'm sure the added time will be well worth it. I am looking forward to this one but as I'm not a rabid/mindless consumer I can definitely allow these artists their due time to create a handheld masterpiece.

lol @Goldrock 1. Because the majority of games that are coming out nowadays are carbon copys of the ones released in years past. Look at Call of Duty and tell me that hasn't been copy/pasted to death. Other series are plenty guilty of it as well that's just one example, but its all part 2,3,4,5, and 6 nowadays no one makes anything original anymore so why should we be excited, and who cares.

2. Because people are steadily watching the quality of life around them in the real world dwindle so they are starting to un-plug from the matrix, and the same old bullshit that came out last year isnt getting them excited and that's not a bad thing, but if your happy to continue sitting there, so be it.

:) So happy to see there is more to come! The story so far has been pretty amazing, and I was wondering if we'd get to see the Belmont's side of things. I'm hoping Sir Patrick Stewart will be back to narrate these ones as well! I love the work he has done in games thus far (dont forget Oblivion!) Looking forward to both the 3DS Castlevania, and the next Lords of Shadow! :)

*Vampire Killer (track from original castlevainia) begins playing in head as I whistle along,....*

Sweet that they have redone this, it looks quite good and I missed out on it the first time around. I have been playing the original ALOT on the 360 recently and I miss DOOM 64 very much. If your reading this Mr. Carmack, please do DOOM 64 for xboxlive and ps3 if you can, and thank you for the masterpieces that are these games.

..... Both this video and game seem like A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME. Thanks for another giant effort in uselessness. How do you guys feel like you've accomplished anything at the end of the day? That's my question.

Daaaaaaang! that sounds amazing!!! omg. I'll buy a gaming pc for that if i have to. I honestly didn't think I would be interested by the headline of the video, mostly because I still have yet to beat the main quest in Skyrim!!! But ohhhwie! after hearing that they'll be carrying on the main plot line how could any fan of the Elder Scrolls not be excited! These days Bethesda is all but unmatched in the care and love they put into creating their games. I was certainly against Skyrim being an mmo, but now that they have given us another single player masterpiece I'll be ready for an Elder Scrolls multi-player experience. Especially knowing I still have the provinces of Cyrodiil, Morrowind, and Skyrim to return to if i ever wish to quest alone. Good good stuff Bethesda! Thanks for doing it right!!
