Thank you guys all very much! I'll hold out for more games, plus I'm pretty sure I'll be giving Black Ops 2 a try too

Hi! Just as the title says, I recently bought a Wii U, and for starters I'm really impressed with the console. With that, has come some disappointment, though. I have had back surgery, and my days are mostly spent in bed. So a big attraction for me to this system was that I heard I could be playing on the Gamepad in another room (bed), while my son is playing the same game with me in our living room. So far, I've been unable to get this to work, but at the same time I don't know if I just picked the wrong games for this kind of feature. Currently, I have 3 games. - Zombie U, which doesn't seem to have co-op from what I can tell. - New Super Mario Bros. U, which just lets me help the other players on the gamepad, but doesn't let me actually do the normal platforming fun that we're all used to from Mario games on the gamepad - Epic Mickey 2, which has a map screen kind of thing on the pad, and instead has split screen on the living room TV. I'm looking for a game that lets me play co-op with my son, so that he plays on the TV, and I play on the gamepad. Was I wrong in interpreting what the gamepad can do, or have I just picked out the wrong games? Any help at all would be much appreciated. Thank you!

I do agree big time. I won't stop buying consoles ever, but what I play most is classic consoles. In my area, it's a little more difficult to find people to play them with, so I started making several episodes on classic games so I can at least play with the Audience - (It's the show in my banner).

Also going with Disney: Mickey's Magical Quest. I can beat it quickly but it's great great fun! (By the way, I agree with the above poster about Aladdin. Great game, but it's not too long at all.)

I loved Timesplitters 2! They have this mini-game where you basically play tag with the AI bots. If you're "it" you have green flames all around your body. My sister and I would play this together and we always made it to the end when it was just myself and her. One of the times I was playing as the unlockable gingerbread character, and my sister yelled "You're on your own gingerbread man!!!" as she ran off to leave me behind with the green flaming AI bots. Seriously up there with one of my all time favorite gaming moments.

[QUOTE="ThE-JoKeR"]Apparently I can only post this here (lol)killerband55

well yeah, this thread has been up here since the night after Elimination Chamber

"I haven't posted here in any wrestling forums on gamespot since probably around 2002. The only reason I'm posting all of a sudden is " This is my first time back. On top that, a single post was made for a discussion on the subject of what it does to the business. Yeah it happened in WM28 TONIGHT, but it quickly gets pushed aside for discussions of grades one gives to the PPV, or "blank this PPV" or "this PPV is blank." If you read the whole post (hint: it comes after what you quoted), it is a discussion about the business. This is why I left in 2002 because of the level that you constantly have to deal with. Judging this is quite literally my first time back here, I'm stunned nothing has changed, but not surprised that MANY of the regulars back then aren't here anymore. So lets try this again, "strange way of doing business - So lets talk about the business. Not WM28 nor anything else that doesn't pertain to it to push it out of the way. I mean if there isn't anyway I can get any methodical discussion on that subject only, move on and I'll do the same, because it was a weak reason to lock a post. It's like my admins on my servers: If they haven't banned someone in awhile, they just leap at the first thing for the smallest technical reasons.

Apparently I can only post this here (lol): I haven't posted here in any wrestling forums on gamespot since probably around 2002. The only reason I'm posting all of a sudden is ...well I'm shocked. For Rock to win when he's not coming back (to my understanding) is insanely bad business, is it not? I mean these are the types of backgrounds and old ways of doing business even discussed with how Bret should have dropped the belt before going to WCW. I'm just really confused by the whole thing. It's like he came in to spit on the talent, and then go and work on movies again. I don't get it. Anyone else confused by this, or feel this is against EVERYTHING that wrestling in the past has displayed as far as "how to do business?"
