Lmfao. This review reads like it's from someone who failed for ten minutes to progress at all and gave up.
I'm just over halfway through the game, and I'm NOT a fan of high risk, lose everything and start all over game mechanics. Souls games are generally too taxing for me. That being said, Returnal strikes a perfect balance between challenging, and reasonable. The levels are gorgeous, the atmosphere is awesome, the gun fights are crazy, and the story is awesome.
Ignore this review and play the game for yourself. This person has NO clue what they're talking about.
It's a deal breaker. Aside from incense and lurking at lures there's simply no way to seek out rarer pokemon that doesn't involve a LOT of waiting and a LOT of luck.
The odds are stacked against non-paying players, and until it's fixed I'm just going to hatch eggs and put my pokemon seeking on hold.
@Mogan: nah, I'm sorry, but I tried to militantly defend this game to critics and they shut me down every time and there's a good reason. Non-guaranteed drops, nerfing weapons completely after people devoted HOURS to get them only to promise that they'll be back a year later? lmfao no thank you.
New emotes drop IMMEDIATELY. No delay on those, but weapon updates? class updates? MONTHS. Nah, Destiny is utter trash.
