The truth is no one really knows for sure. Bungie started production right after the release of Halo 2. In a recent article in Game Informer had found evidence of a 3rd title. Or at least what they thought was a third title. The games name was Forerunner. Which we all know from the Halo series. The code name for the 360 was xenon. So honestly the only people who have a solid idea are those working on it, and they're not telling. Bill Gates came out publicly and announced that Halo 3 would coincide with the release of the PS3, but later retracted that statement saying he had no idea when Halo 3 would be out. I personally think this could be a ploy and Halo 3 could be ready by November. My realist side tells me that Bungie is working hard and it will be out when it comes out. Whenever that may be.
