You're reading too much into it. You guys are young right? If it got that far she won't care. You're not having kids anytime soon provided you don't do anything stupid.
The only time I look at expensive brands like that is when I'm looking at suits. In my opinion, they do stand above the rest, otherwise, the accessories, t-shirts, whatever else they sell; I'm not interested in.

I think it was the "sheer number of kids" getting into the pool that could have spooked the parent. You may be paying far too much attention to the race aspect of it... I mean, sixty kids in a 'private' pool? The president could have said that and been done with it (not making the news) as easily as he said they threatened the complexion and atmosphere of the club.
