@Vanyelk ok all i'm saying is that generally girls aren't interested in playing video games (I'm not counting tetris or angry birds or minesweeper etc. here). i know two girls who regularly play advanced games on either pc or xbox - and about 90% of the guys i know - so i'm not saying girls can't or absolutely don't I'm just saying i'm finding it incredibly hard to believe that 45% of people who regularly play games on a console or a pc are female
god, eddie makuch's articles seem to just drop in quality each time. why would you even bother writing this? for a start, you haven't properly given a clear definition of what constitutes a 'gamer'. i'm not certain of the percentage of people who own a console or good pc and actively play lots of AAA games (not just angry birds or farmville or something) - but i'm pretty sure that less than 45% of them are women
In my opinion, SR1 was fantastic and SR2 was even better. It had a near-perfect mix of seriousness and silliness. One of my favourite games ever. However SR3 was a bit of a disappointment. It was too silly / over the top for my liking and while there were lots of improvements made, such as the controls when running around and shooting (i didn't enjoy driving in SR3, it felt too easy and the cars too similar to each other) and the graphics, the lack of things to do after you finish the missions ruined it for me
@nephili232 i have an xbox because i enjoy the social / playing with friends on the couch aspect of gaming, but you can't deny that PC offers higher quality gaming in terms of graphics, etc.
really like the idea of throwing the oddball, sounds like it'll fix the problem of people hiding in the corner of the map while everyone else plays team slayer
