It took almost 3 years before people could walk into a store and buy a PS 5 off the shelf. What’s the point of making a PS 5 Pro that will take the next five years for people to get their hands on, just in time for the PS 6?

BTW, there is always a need for a more powerful machine if you have to choose between a power graphics and performance mode. Until they reach the point where you automatically can have both like a good gaming PC already has.

@girlusocrazy: Not sure what you’re smoking, but your credibility about the mobile version being subpar is out the window. You seem pretty hung up on Switch 2, a device that hasn’t even been announced, yet claiming these titles not only will be available on the platform but supposedly show stronger performance than existing hardware. Apart from that, you apparently don’t even understand the iPhone version is not on the cloud. It will be downloaded to the iPhone directly just like the Resident Evils. I suggest you check out Digital Foundry’s analysis of the mobile versions. They are much more favorable than your opinion. Go back and finish what you’re smoking. That’s a smart much smarter option for you than attempting a valid response.

Welcome to our increasingly illiterate society.

“Snag” is becoming one of the most misused words of the year.

Snag is properly defined as catching yourself on something that you did NOT want to happen. For example, you are wearing a sweater and it got snagged on a protruding nail. But people are misusing it almost daily as if it means “just scored a good deal.”

It’s right on par with all the people who suddenly pronounce “bros.” like broze as if it is a standalone word and not an abbreviation. Nope, bros. is properly pronounced as brothers.

@Barighm: kind of an odd comment considering Gamespot TV already existed decades ago, and later became a show called X-Play…

No, sorry. Two things that kept the series from being epic in my mind. The choice of Bella Ramsey. She acts like an annoying snotty kid who looks nothing like Ellie and doesn’t even have the same personality. It feels like they didn’t bother to find an Ellie, they simply took this girl and said she’ll be in the role. Second, I think the TV show writers forgot that it was about escaping clickers and the brethren, and there wasn’t nearly enough scenes combatting them. But overall, I thought it was quite a successful adaption as I played the game alongside the movie and noticed just how many of the settings and character actions were painstakingly recreated. Probably the best game to live action transition we’ve ever seen.

Game Studios make announcements as early as they possible because of pressure from investors always seeking new product, innovation, and most importantly, new revenue streams. That’s what keeps the dollars flowing, so don’t expect changes anytime soon.

The inability to use amiibo cards is a BIG downside to any third-party controllers. Utilizing amiibos gives you instant access to much-needed weapons, food, ingredients, armor, and epona/wolf. Once you played breath of the wild/tears of the kingdom with amiibos, you will never go back. Takes a ton of frustration out of the game… Especially the stress from weapon breaking.

Don’t listen to the idiots claiming Nintendo switch pro controllers have drift problems. I have never had a problem for several years, so these guys must be gnawing on them, throwing their controllers around the house or pressing them unnecessarily hard when they get upset at the game.
