Sorry to do this again, but, all my castles and towns are in 50%-90% squalor, i am not halfway through the game and my crusading war against Denmark means I have little money to spend on upgrades. I can't stop the war because they attacked me (making the pope denounce them) and wont listen to me when I offer them practically all of France in exchange for a ceasefire. Is the best way to solve this to delete the farms and make the population die off?

Also can i just add, some of my regions are experiencing religious unrest even though they are 100% catholic and there are no heretics or witches around.

I'm playing England, and King Rufus inherited the throne after King William. Rufus had 1 son and 3 daughters. the son inherited the throne and married Manuela, a spainish princess with low charm, meaning my king has a low chance of having children. His 3 sisters all had a charm of 3 or higher and are married off. My king and his sisters still have no children at all, my kings wife is 44 and his sisters are between the ages of 39-35. Is there a chance of having any heirs with such an old wife? King Rufus' wife had all her children in her 20's. If my king doesn't have a child then his uncle Robert has two sons (Godwine and Geiles) who destroyed Scotland and France respectively, but who still don't have wives in their late 30's . But instead of them my heir was automatically chosen as Davy Glassenbury, a horrible commander who Robert only adopted because he put down a small rebellion in Wales. But this was AFTER his two legitimate sons were born. But Davy does have a wife and three sons and a daughter who may become a princess. Should i send him into battle until a good heir is chosen, or stick with him? I don't really want to lose my bloodline of eldest sons, Each with a high chivalry rating. Is there anyway to force a male child to be born
