If you already registered it then you should be able to re-download it in Origin. When you open up Origin, in the left upper corner there should be an option "show: all games" or "show: ready to play". Try switching it to all games then it should show games that aren't installed but ready to download.

I don't blame them. They know how to handle these things.

I would say the same thing if they offered an offline mode but go figure.

[QUOTE="QQabitmoar"]

Everyone and their grandmothers are playing the beta...haven't you heard? Also, apparently the porting of the heroes and the fixing of bugs and streamlining of interface are taking longer than expected.

MBirdy88

Your telling me, its pathetic. a team like S2 can bring out new heroes every 2 weeks, an experianced team like Valve are struggeling to get one in a month or 2 .... and they still only have like half the heroes, no item shop system in place yet, not fixing "player stuck" inbalances, instead of thinking ahead and solving these with the new engine they decide to stick to the old limitations of WC3 engine. Its sad, I wonder how much of a say IceFrog has, because hes an outdated idiot.

What? The game is in beta. I played HoN closed beta a lot and I remember that not much changed during that time, just balance changes and bug fixes. Everything you see now in HoN now, came after the release. You say a new hero in a month or two? What a blatant lie. Go check dota2.com and check the dates on patches.

Decided to monitor my CPU and GPU usage while playing Assassin's Creed 1. CPU at average stays around 60-70% and GPU usage doesn't even go above 53%. I did this test in a crowded place where my framerate was around 45-50. So my conclusion is that the game is just unoptimized or doesn't want to work well with newer GPU drivers.

hey try out the Large Address Aware patch

http://www.ntcore.com/4gb_patch.php

it should help with performance by allowing more RAMs for the game

Thanks, I forgot about that. I actually use that for Skyrim too.

[QUOTE="Captain__Tripps"] Yours is better I think lol. I have an e5200 OC'd to 3.4ghz. Im pretty sure I was running the same settings too, 2/3 shadows, 2/3 multi, which was the default... Do you get any better performance if you lower the graphical settings? Its been a long time, but im sure I was getting 30+ fps, i'd think you'd do a lot better unless your CPU is holding things back.Captain__Tripps

Yes, the framerate gets better when I turn more settings down. I mean it's totally playable but I am worrying if my PC is underperforming for some reason. I cannot compare the performance with my last PC because it's actually 7 years old so it can't even run AC.

Not sure, strolling through a city im getting 45-60fps... Do you have vsync turned on? Seems low to me your performance, have you tried other games?

Yep, I have tried other games, you can see that in my post on the first game. I get about the same framerate when strolling through the city but I've seen it gone below 40 when there are lots of people around. I have the crowd density at mid actually.

[QUOTE="Supafly1"][QUOTE="Captain__Tripps"]I think I got slightly better performance than that with a 4850 at 16x10 which im pretty sure is a lot worse than what you have, id think youd be seeing better performance...Captain__Tripps
What kind of a CPU are you running?

Issue with the game. I get a lower framerate in assassin's creed than I do in the witcher2.

And I see that you are also running an ATI card. As to reply to DJ_Headshot, I run Skyrim on high settings at 1366x768, 4xAF, 2xAA, vsync on. Game runs 50-60FPS on the field, 40-60 in towns and lowest I have seen was I think 30, maybe even a bit lower than that during a huge fight. Other games like Team Fortress 2, League of Legends run 60fps rock solid.

That's strange...

An 8800gt gets the same performance at that res. with everything maxed out.

call_of_duty_10
I've read other reports of older Nvidia cards outperforming newer ATI cards. Maybe the problem lies there.
