Actually, I use "no offense" after offending somebody, just to make sure they caught it in case they're even slower than I think they are. I've used that phrase about five times in the last hour.

I like to use phrases just to see peoples' reactions, and some phrases were just passed on to me from those who raised me.

None of those particular phrases bother me.

Animaniacs is awesome but you guys probably just like it because it had a bit of subtle jokes that most young 'uns would never get that were able to slip past the censors so to speak...

Being enjoyable for multiple age groups is a sign of quality... and I'm glad you've decided to judge me after all of these years we've known each other.

[QUOTE="scarecrowM"]

[QUOTE="Agent-Zero"]The greatest cartoon of the 90s was Batman: The Animated SeriesMrGeezer

agreed.

See, THAT was a genuinely good cartoon.

Animaniacs is also right up there near the top.

But Duck Tales? Come on, now.

Duck Tales is still sort of cute. It's definitely not one of the more moan-worthy of '80s/'90s cartoons. The movie is still decent for what it was. Garfield and Friends.... *shudders* Now that was bad.

Here's another that goes beyond nostalgia and is still good: Animaniacs.

The game though.... now that's another story.

[QUOTE="Logan1616"]Well for the OT'ers that don't like it, I am truly sorry. :(Ringx55
Most of them hate on songs that are popular. It's a shame you miss out on some good music just because it's "over played".

If you assume that most of us are still in highschool, then yes. We are oh-so-rebellious hating a song that sounds like James Blunt threw it out. As for the "overplayed" part; I hated it the first time I heard it. I don't like generic housewife-pop. No offense, of course.

Do you smile with nostalgia?

Also inb4 Internet elitists talk about how overrated 90's cartoons are and just be general elitists. They were fun enjoyable cartoons and the memories of that time with friends and your childhood are most important. Hope everyone had a meaningful one!

I personally loved Darkwing Duck though and man if you could hear my parents busting my chops about some of the stuff I'd do in tandem with the show...

Baconbits2004

It sounds like you're not even talking about how good or bad the cartoon is. It sounds like you're saying that it's awesome because it reminds you of a happy time in your life. And if that's the case, then I could easily saying that crapping one's pants in public is awesome. Because the year I crapped my pantsa in public was the same year that I first got laid. Even today, on the rare occasions when I crap my pants in public, it reminds me of that glorious time in my youth when I first got laid. So, crapping my pants in public has to be awesome. Right?

Anyway, I remember Ducktales. It was a pretty crappy show. Not the best, not the worst, it was just a cartoon about ducks. Any connection with my life or my friends was purely coincidental, and had absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the show.

too much information... yet strangely not enough. Do go on.

Now to actually answer you, i have a mini one hanging off my keychain.

I use it to tag up bus stops with random lines to songs. When someone goes to read the timetable, they can read what i wrote and maybe that one line will brighten up their day.

Vandalism... tsk, tsk, tsk.

And might I add, "For shame."

Now that I think about it, I've only seen a black Sharpie. Hmm.
