Yes, they have no credibility with scoring Nintendo games at a max of 8.

Snore, another Gamespot 8 (for perfect) score on a Nintendo game. We get it, not original enough, not hardcore, limited online features. The same (not original) can be said of 90% of game releases nowadays. Give Nintendo a freakin break, these scores are unrealistically low!

Liked the piece, it was hilarious and true. Totally agree with the content, we are fighting over something we have not seen yet. It may take a yer or more even to knoe if one console is truly superior. I do understand the PS fanboys, as tey likely feel they have been playing the lesser console these past years and here is a chance at redemption!

Nintendo serves a separate and distinct audience that Sony and Microsoft currently ignore. That includes - kids under 14, fans of their series and more casual gamers. I don't believe they are dead yet, but they need to get more games on the shelves to go with the Wii U console. Definitely agree they should have had more games year 1 or waited to put out a more advanced console that launched with more games. That was a major blunder and it remains to be seen if they recover.

Wii U will be the "kid's choice" console of this Holiday season. Really lacking in games so far, but they are on the way!

Sure your excited. So you can give them all the standard Gamespot 7.0 snub review for Nintendo games. You guys hate on all Nintendo games. Happily handing out 8s & 9s on every CoD or umpteenth sequel. But Nintendo isn't innovative enough, etc, etc. you know you just want Mario to break out an AR-15 and splatter Bowser's gore all over the screen. I know you'd give that a 9+

Buy them both, just wait on a bogo 40 or 50 off deal. This game looks great. Surprised Gamespot didn't give it a 5 or 6 since its Nintendo.

@Drilbit777 @SteveMcD01 I think my issue is "on the way". After they show Nintendo will launch a new console. Much better at selling consoles than games. Games are few and far between.

I think my problem is "on the way" and not long after they arrive Nintendo will launch a new portable or console. Then right back to waiting for more titles.
