No, I'm making highly accurate and educated assumptions based on my experience and keen business acumen.

You don't just go from 1 billion LTD sales to 30 million LTD sales without incurring hefty component price hikes.

Which is fancy talk for making it up based on assumptions. None of us know what prices MS pays for components, we don't know what deals they have in place and any clauses in those deals. You're looking at the NPD numbers and suddenly proclaiming that MS is panicking.

MS has enough profits they can afford not to panic. The biggest loss they took was the Nokia purchase. If they want to stay the course in gaming, they have the funds to do so. Same with Sony and Nintendo.

Not technically underrated, but I am going with Final Fantasy Tactics. I am playing the WotLs for the third time on my phone, and all told in the various incarnations am at like 200+ hours and I can still grind like it's my job. Along with that, I would add the criminally underrated Jeanne d'Arc on PSP.

SPRUCE!!!

What's up jg? Long time no see. The boards are a bit different than I recall them.

Yeah all the fun's been sucked out of it. Ever since the redesign the community dropped, throw in the lack of unions+everybody getting older, and you're left with a depleted community.

Yeah, but I am here, let the fun begin! Also, countdown until I am banned for some rule I didn't know existed. :)

On topic, I will add Sunset Overdrive. Most fun besides Dying Light I have had this console cycle so far, and no one seems to care about it. Also, it's free with XBL Gold this coming month, everyone who can should grab it and at least try it.

As a gamer, I don't much care about the makers. Don't think any of them are throwing in the towels, so as long as there are games, what should we care unless you own stock?

I never ever bring handhelds outside. The only time I ever take it anywhere is Vacation or a long road trip, I like being able to watch TV and play a game at the same time...espeically since I'm an avid sports fan. There's nothing like watching the Yankees and playing MLB the show at the same time.

My wife would kill me, but I know exactly what you mean. "Sure honey, I am watching Idol *stealth racing WipEout*"

He said his management, not Sony. Unless I'm missing something here.

I believe you are right.

Trolololololol!!!!!

SRTtoZ

To be fair, I owned and said just about the same thing about the PSP. I was not a fan of the system, even though I loved some of the games on it. That said, claiming you to be a Sony employee seems odd to me, and I was likewise unable to find many reports of busted sticks on the Vita.

Yea but theres a way to go about it. All it takes is 2 seconds to look through his history and see he trolls every sony thread. I have him on ignore now anyway so I cant see anymore of his posts. Regardless both the 3DS and Vita are great systems, I'm not insecure to admit that. And I WISH I worked for Sony.

Yeah, as a techie, I would jump to work for Sony, MS, or Ninty. Or Google or even Apple (and I hate Apple stuff as of now lol). The great minds there would be neat for me.

[QUOTE="SpruceCaboose"] $100 would be about the most I would consider reasonable. More than that and I can just buy a 3DS. But I would bet it will be about the same price as a 3DS, just from the technology supposedly in it. I mean, I believe a Wiimote and Nunchuk are over $100 together even, or at least it was at launch.eNT1TY

Yeah $100 is about as high as I'm willing to go though I could budge a bit, say $150, if an exceptional launch line up with a must have local multiplayer game were announced and even then after strong consideration i may not go through with it.

I do like the idea of takeaway games on the controller though, kinda like what Sega did with the Dreamcast UMDs.

[QUOTE="SpruceCaboose"][QUOTE="p4s2p0"] Depends on the type of games you play I used psp analog all the just has I am vita'sSRTtoZ

When I was playing the PSP, it was for TRPGs, racers like WipEout, Ratchet & Clank, and puzzlers like Lumines and Crush. Oh, and the GTA games.

Lumines is absolutely amazing on the Vita. I just got my new high score tonight of 350,000, I know not that great but I'm new :(

Lumines and WipEout are the only reasons I want a Vita, and they are compelling. But I haven't used a handheld outside my house in years, so I just don't think I will. I mostly use a Kindle and read while I am out and about (I know, boring old man here), and game at home.
