I'm not about to go out and drop $60 on a 3 hour game with motion control problems.

My game of choice has slightly more realistic blades of grass than your game of choice.

You know most of those STIs could have been easily avoided if they had just worn a rubber.

Personally I think it's pretty disgusting to have unprotected sex with some stranger. Dunno why people would want to risk catching an incurable bloodborne disease for 5 minutes of pleasure.

Hey now! I can last more than 20 minutes of pure pleasure :P

Not when you're drunk :P

Dunno, these videogame adaptations never seem to end up good.

Zipping around giants looks fun but I don't think it's something I want to do for 10 hours.

Also do you mean to tell me that if I don't pirate the game then I don't get that cool eye patch?

Well, tell her, next time if she's going to post something sensitive or even your own agenda, you do it under an anonymous handler in Social Media.

She didn't get fired for moonlighting though, it was an excuse. She got fired because she was the target of an online harassment campaign. And for what? Not like she did anything to incur the wrath of the anti-SJW community. Hell, even as a self-described feminist, her views were not at odds of the current anti-SJW who have been fighting against rather militant feminists trying to assert their agenda rather heavy-handedly into gaming by culture by attacking and condemning it. She's even advocated not to censor sexual imagery which seems to be at odds to what many more prominent feminists making names for themselves in gaming are trying to achieve.

Did you miss the tweets I posted of her openly supporting pedophilia?

To be fair, Nintendo terminating Rapp in general would have given hate groups a symbolic victory. There really isn't much you can do there. I see the rest of your point though. Either way, corporate is always going to be cold in these kind of issues.

Once she caught the ire of the hate groups, yes- even if she had been terminated six months from now, they would have taken it as a victory. But it wouldn't have been as big of a deal, the issue would have died down, the mov would have moved on to something else. As it stands right now, Nintendo inadvertently struck when the iron was hot and did the most damage in the process.

Alison Rapp was terminated due to violation of an internal company policy involving holding a second job in conflict with Nintendo’s corporate culture. Though Ms. Rapp’s termination follows her being the subject of criticism from certain groups via social media several weeks ago, the two are absolutely not related. Nintendo is a company committed to fostering inclusion and diversity in both our company and the broader video game industry and we firmly reject the harassment of individuals based on gender, race or personal beliefs. We wish Ms. Rapp well in her future endeavors.

This was a statement from Nintendo, what more do you want?

For them to have not fired her right now, which would give GamerGate the biggest symbolic victory. For them to have stood in support of an employee being targeted by a hate mob. And yes, for them to have put out a statement which they did put out (though I will continue to maintain that it could and should have been far more explicit).

You know just because an individual receives harassment and abuse from another group does not excuse said individuals actions. While I certainly do not condone harassment it seems like these type of people (the SJWs and feminists) often use these harassment claims to deflect criticism and excuse their own bad actions.

What a waste of a perfectly good firing. Someone at NoA should fire the idiot who thought not putting Fatal Frame V on Wii U in North America was a great idea while at the same time thinking putting Devil's Third on disc was also a good decision... fire that douche... well, that's harsh, but a sturdy shaming should be suffice. Anyhow, poor Alison Rapp, didn't deserve this. Hopefully someone in the industry has the good sense to acquire her. The greater Seattle area has has other gaming companies so hopefully they reach out to her.

I think some companies were reaching out to her after her firing. She should hopefully get back on her feet quickly.

Hope they enjoy having a pedophile supporter on their hands.
