I read every forum on the upcoming so called next-gen or I call it finally Playing PC at Ultra Setting on a Home Console. After all this, I truly miss Real Console Wars Like SNES and SEGA GEN. Those were the days. Comparing Graphics like Mortal Kombat SNES vs Sega paper cup sounds of MK - To Killer Instint 1, Mario World, final Fantasy III, to Sega adding atachments to try to beat Nintendo, I'm miss this so much. Now we just have PC vs PC vs PC just with Microsoft and Sony names attached. You know want I mean. Old school games for Life Peace! All I hear in my ear is All in the Family Theme music. Those were the dayzzzzzzzz!
@3v1LR0n1N @Sonphil Kojima will make the move to put it on PS3 and (Xbox ?) for current gen, but it will not have have the bells and whistles like next-gen. This is just a money move thats what I call it. That is a way to make both current and next happy. Like MGS2, It was a PS2 exclusive until it came out for PC and XBox. More money makes for a better upcoming MGS. Kojima know as long as the fans are there he will keep on making them. I can't wait for the next-gen so this console war with pc will stop. ATI/Nvidia will just make new video cards every year to please there pockets. Just like Kojima , Making more MGS to please there pockets. I will buy a MGS title just like people will buy iphones regarless of model.
@Double-Ego @Sonphil Why don't you stick and amd processor and your Highend gpu , then compare it to the lowest intel i3 and then tell me what frames you get. The i3 will give you steady frames compared to amd just youtube it and you will see. Its not taking shit I used to have a amd phenom II 940 with crossfire 5870 . the frames was garbage never steady. Don't give me that driver bull either. The proof is on youtube.
My two cents, Console will never defeat pc , as far as gaming goes, PS3 was said to be a very power system with there cell processor, but there cell processor couldn't reach good fps at 1080p. Pc will come out with DX12 graphic cards by the end of the year. You really cannot call these next-gen console a gaming system because the system are made of pc componets now. And to say such nonsense and have Sony use a AMD processor at that makes it more funny, AMD cannot keep there FPS steady at all even with their highend processors. Its just cheap to make their product. The games will be great of course with no eye candy taken out which pc never had the problem. In Conclusion, Always remember the name of product like apple will always sell no matter what. Just build yourself a 500 dollar gaming pc or go to tigerdirect and buy a barebone under 300.00 dolloars and start from there. Home gaming is alway in my heart considering I still own every console thats been release just because I'm a collector. This time around I will skip this generation because Sony realize that a pc have more power than we will ever need to make a great gaming system. Microsoft ideal to remove used games are just being selfish making gaming for the rich only. You will need a internet provider plus , the game, plus the system equal to I'll just build a gaming rig.
People comment saying This Tomb Raider Stole from drake. How about Drake Stole From ALL the Tomb Raiders. Let Take out all the Tomb Raider Elements from Drake. Then what type of game would you have. Just Like when Gears of War came out , Every game started using the same cover system and shoot. Then 3rd person view. I have tons of examples but not enought room to type. Just enjoy the game. You know what I hate the most, Is people saying Tomb Raider copy Drake. Tomb Raider been out before Drake was thought of. PS1,PC late 90's. You should know better if your a gamer.you must born when Tomb Raider Came out. If I wanted to be smart I would say the exploring ideal was taking from Indiana Jones. but thats a movie.
