What? They are still making this horrible version of "Killer instinct"? This thing locked up on me 5 times at a micosoft store and it was the only game they had there and it erases save games at random on my firend xbox and nobody plays it online you can never find a match it's dead as hell there is next to nobody that plays it.. takes hours to get a match sometimes.
The new character designs are so awful it looks like china tried to make a pirated street fighter 4 game like those fake game consoles and iphones they sell over there. that looks nothing like tj combo it looks like a random boxer from the 70s. Nothing in this game looks like a killer instinct game and it looks like a xbox 360 game. some xbox 360 fighting games look better than this game injustice or dead or alive 5 blows this thing out of the water.
And it still looks bad just like the last time I saw it at the microsoft store.
Hell Mortal kombat X pwns this 20 times over in being a real next gen fighting game and a reason to buy a new console and I can tell mortal kombat x is mortal kombat game and who the characters are for 20 miles away, and stret figther 4 owns it in gameplay and I can play that and better fighting games on the xbox 360 I already got since they turned KI into a lame street fighter 4 clone anyway and not a real Killer instinct game.
Wonder what other Rareware games microsoft is going to ruin over the years...
This game looks so horrible. I used to be a huge KI fan and I am not anymore. This is nothing like a KI game the characters are horrible. it looks like a low budget capcom game with all the rejected characters from dead japanese fighting games running on a xbox 360.
total garbage this is not a KI game in anyway shape or form it's some wanna be japanese crap with the KI name slapped on it. They could call this game anything and I would have no clue it is related to KI in anyway. I played this at pax and it plays like garbage too and none of the characters have any moves from the old game so why bother?? you do a move and it does some horrible animation that don't look anything like the move the old game had or it does nothing at all.
It's like taking ryus fireball out or redoing it as another move making it backwards or something it's trash. combos go by so god damn slow now they have no fucking sense of slow and it so easy to brake these damn combos that is all the game is 3 hits and a combo brakeer then they start again.
The game and xbox one is shipping not done end of story,. Not that it would help this game it was going down the wrong path of suckage from the start. it is so dull uninspired and void of any personality at I wonder why they even bother and just kill the game off.
stupid idea to take a broken street fighter 4 rip off and tack 2 even more broken ki concepts that are even more broken than the first ki game and call it a new ki game. there is no KI left in this and the rest of it is just a tub of garbage that has a horrible new artwork for all the characters and UI.
i hate evo so it was not even worth my driving trip there to see this thing.
i played this game it evo it is 100% pure sucktastic ass.
it not even a real KI game it is some capcom street fighter 4 rip off they are trying to pass off as a ki game and it fucking looks like it is running on a xbox 360 or ps3. hell i have seen better looking games on a xbox 360. hell i can buy better fighting games on the xbox 360 and save $500.
i could not tell if this was a ki game unless i was told i thought i was playing street fighter 5/darkstalkers 4 the low budget version.
if you though double helix butchered silent hill wait until you see this game it is even worse. the silent hill game they made is great compared to this. they could not make a real fighting game if they had a gun to their heads.
So no the gameplay also sucks it is not going to save it.
