I'm going to bug this and close the thread. Pleae note that I have no control over bug prioritization, but we'll do our best to get it addressed.

Ok, I found out that the solution I proposed was deprecated. I'm sorry about that. I've spoken with an engineer who said to create a bug. I will do that and close this thread. No guarantees on when this will be fixed as I have no say in bug prioritization; however, we will make all efforts to see that it receives the attention it deserves.

Still getting the "white screen of doom." I figured I'd name the bug, and "of death" was already taken:P Though for giggles I hit GameFAQs and was able to report it. I'm stumped now...soul_motor
We bumped your GameFAQs level up to 20, that's why you _can_ report on the GameFAQs side. :)
Okay, let's run through some basics here to rule them out. Would you please clear your browser cache and then close all open browser windows? Once you have done this, open a new browser window and try again. Let me know how it goes.
I may have figured out the problem, I've never used the GameFAQ's site. According to their TOS:
Mark it for moderation. Click on the "Message Detail" link right above the message, select a reason, and submit it. This will inform the moderators that you believe that the message is violating the TOU, and they will act on it if they agree with you. Your account must be at least level 20 before being allowed to mark messages for moderation.
I'm only level one on their site. I don't know if this is something new, but it's quite irritating, especially since I've been here for quite some time...

As a test, your GameFAQs level has been bumped up to 20. Would you please re-attempt message reporting? Let us know how it goes.
Lee does an amazing job living in the forums and attending to issues. For that we are all very grateful. He has brought this situation to our attention and we apologise that this is happening, and are working to resolve the issue. In this case, the problem is not obvious, and since we all work in the US, it might be more difficult to troubleshoot.
I would like to propose a tentative solution in the mean time. Please use this URL to access the US site if you are stuck on another site:
http://www.gamespot.com?set_ad_region=us
Notice the "set_ad_region" paremeter. If you wanted to go to another site, then switch out "us" with "uk" or "au", alternatively.

At this time we cannot delete accounts - the tool is broken. I should mention that you can set your profile to private in your Preferences. You can get to your Preferences by clicking on the "prefs" link at the top of the page after you log in.
I should also mention that we encourage you to enter your information correctly when you create your account, but if you make a typo with your email address and can't get the activation email, just contact us and give us your username and the correct email address for your account and we'll make the change for you.
If you don't like your username and want to create a new account, but need to free up your email address, you can change your email address in your Preferences. Then you make the new account using that email address you just freed up.
We anticipate the ability to delete accounts in the future when the tool is fixed, but at this time, I'm not sure when that will be.
