Hey man Im on the same boat as you, I gotta send in my 60GB PS3 because the disk reader broke. To answer your question, yes they will send you a Refurbished 60GB model so your getting all of your 4usb/memory card slot/ and BC features. However, I called Sony and they told me it will cost a total of $161.00 for everything...including tax to get it fixed.
I want it more like R1 but with obviously better graphics, and an improved gameplay with more options for the online expeirence. They totally f upped R2.
Im currently on Chapter 6, I believe its called "Desperate Times" and am playing it on Hard. I love the beginning of the story, really strong start IMO.
