Has anyone tried doing the MIDI to USB thing? has it worked? Im currently waiting for RedOctane to send me the cable or for something to happen, if not I guess I'll buy the cable myself, I'd just like to know if it works.

Well so far my kit seems to be working. I was a little bit worried about the yellow "disk" (forgot the name of that part of the instrument lol) cause it wasn't registering. I read online that having a computer on and near it could cause interference so I turned of my computer and yellow disk seems to be working fine for now. Maybe a fluke or maybe there IS interference between drums and computer...guitar works perfectly for now *knocks three times on wood* don't wanna jinx it.

I know you can save game data in it cause I saved SMG in it and took it to my friends house and I also managed to save SSBB to do the same. I still don't have VC games so I don't know if it can be done, but I know you can do it with normal game data.

Ok this feels weird cause it's gonna be very off-topic since most, if not all, of the Wii users have already introducced themselves but it's my turn now.
My name is Rafael, people know me as Zyme in forums since that's my SSBB name. I go by many names but most are in spanish...and somewhat insulting so I won't type 'em here. I live in Puerto Rico and I've been gaming since 1993, my first game being Super Mario Land for the GB. I'm currently in my third year of studying computer engineering and as soon as I'm done, I'm either going to do my masters but I have no idea yet. I'm late for a test so this is it for now. See you people later.

I don't regret buying it. It's a great console and upcoming games are already calling my name. In fact I think I'm going to buy the first Wii game I had, but I sold it cause...I dont really know why I sold it, I liked the game (SSX Blur if your wondering)

Only thing I regret is the name being Wii. One day was on the phone with my friend and I informed her I've been playing my Wii hard all day...you know that didn't go down well hahacreativeminded

LOL. Made my day, can't stop laughing. It happened to me too so it's like a shared LOL.

I'd recommend the Wii to just about everyone. It's solid and great for solo play and even group play. If your family is ridiculously big like mine, you'll have hours of fun with even Wii Sports (and trust me, everyone in my family plays the Wii when they come to my house)

[QUOTE="-Oath"]Its pretty hard to miss RARE now considering how long they've been gone...Litchie

Why? They were totally awesome when they were with Nintendo. It's very easy for me to miss the awesomeness of DK, Killer Instinct, Banjo, Conker, Starfox, etc. If they were still with Nintendo, they'd be one of my favourite devs for the Wii, no doubt.

Agreed. I'd forgotten about Killer Instinct

It's not so much miss RARE, just Banjo Kazooie. I loved both first games and I had heard of a third one and I was ecstatic until i realized that it wont come for the Wii. Sucks having to buy a 360 only for one game.

Upcoming games look promising...but I've said the same thing about previous games and they end up getting "killed" by reviews, be it users or other websites or whatnot. People should just try games and forget about critics! Then again, I'd have to apply that to myself...still, i hope that what you said holds true.

I just can't get over the fact that Rare wont release BK:N&B for the Wii! I read somewhere that they would have to talk with Nintendo to see if they release the first two games for the Wii online thing (lol at my lack of knowledge, I don't spend much time online). They were at least considering it, unless it's some kind of lie like the "supposed Golden Sun third game". I just like believining that Rare might go like "You know? They had all the previous games...why not this one too?" Aren't they still making DS games anyways? It wouldn't be so bad if they would just do this too. Am I the only one hoping?
