No sooner than holiday 2013. These consoles have proved over and over they still have plenty of potential left, except in nintendo's case, bout time they got around to entering the hd era.
I think you make some good points but I don't think there'll be any problems for '2d' gamers on ps3 anyways. Sony said at e3 each disc game that supports 3d that they release will have the 3d version and the version optimizied for standard hd on the single disc.
Konami have a conference later don't they? It's not streamed but it's today or tomorrow I think - Nintendo had too much to announce tbh haha I hope Sony don't try and push the PSP lots, it's essentially DEAD now with 3DS and third party support. if sony doesn't announce a new handheld the psp is gonna be destroyed by apple and nintendo.
