Jak 2 is known by many to have an insane difficultly level and lots of challenge and little checkpoints. So I want to know what your most dreaded task was in the game.

Meh, I didn't think it had an insane difficulty. It was just challenging for me and I'm a novice 3D platformer player. The hardest mission that gave missions that gave me trouble in Jak II was the one where you had to rescue or see Sig (?) underwater and then came the platforming and puzzle elements while he was protecting you from the enemies that were there which could kill Sig. Lack of checkpoints and tricky jumps made this mission quite challenging and cheap. It was also tough completing the Class races especially the final one, overall the races were manageable once you got the hang of it. Never played Hero Mode, but heard it was way more difficult and I won't bother getting all those secret orbs. The ones where you had to stop the turrets was aggravating since enemies would infinitely respawn only if you didn't kill them first all the way through where they would stop respawning. Prepare for some cheap shots and deaths if ya don't do that. The game is fine with the difficulty in my opinion. Nothing like a little bit of spice to add up to the game. The challenge was part of the fun in the game along with the great gameplay.

My very first gaming experience was long ago when I first played a game that I don't even remember on an original PlayStation. It was at someone's house where my father took me to visit. The system and the game kinda made me awe-struck since I never actually saw anything like it. I forgot about this until I got my very first original model of the PlayStation 2 and thanks to my uncle. I have a lot of nostalgia towards it with the limited times I had one (I've been through 4 PS2's) and it still has games that I'll be willing to play. So after that, I moved to someplace else and left my original PS2 at the place I originally was living and the only kind of games I played was the one time I borrowed a friend's GBA and on my PC. I was always interested in gaming and looking at all the stuff back before I was even born. After my 2nd or 3rd PS2 broke on me and my XBOX 360 AV cables not working anymore. I decide to use these so-called emulators and play old-school games which were called "roms". I only heard about this a few time over the internet and wanted to test these things out. I always loved buying the authentic systems and games, but since these games were so old you couldn't even find them around where I was. I had no idea at the time there were websites that were suited for buying classic games since I was still at a young kiddy age. I owe it to emulators for expanding my horizons in gaming and being a gateway to games that I love and buying these games the company themselves have made later on. I started being heavily influenced in RPG's after playing through the versions of the first Final Fantasy and VII. I got into retro gaming and gaming in general when I tried out and sometimes completed such classics as SMB, MegaMan, Sonic, Zelda, Dragon Quest, Castlevania, Metroid, Ninja Gaiden, Phantasy Star, Final Fantasy, Parasite Eve, and along with many others. I was a lot more interested in RPG's and experimenting new things and boy, did I try out and experiment a lot of games during that time. After a bit of that. I started PC Gaming first with awesome games like the Max Payne series, The Elder Scrolls, Half-Life, DOOM, Silent Hill 2 & 3, Grand Theft Autos, FEAR, Star Wars games, Diablo, Post Mortem, and I swear there were a lot more games, but I just can't remember them. I also began playing DOS games and learning how to use the DOS, mostly playing the Secret of Monkey Island, Leisure Suit Larry, Police Quest, and adventure games. They both gave me some great experiences with gaming. I started getting back to console gaming once I got a PS3 Slim and played some rather fine games on it. Just wished I bought more and there are only a handful of games that gave me a great experience with it. I also had the Wii at that point which only interested me in it Virtual Console feature and may once again get on it if I find any decent games for it in my area. That's basically it for now. I am more diverse and versatile with games than I ever thought I would be. I love PC gaming and console gaming as a whole. They both gave me some one-of-a-kind experiences in my life. Praise thy technology and its games! I'm still trying to beat more than 75 percent of those games I've listed...

Aye, I do have problems with their list and nor do they care if we don't agree with them. I really don't pay attention to what they know about videogames since I think these videos are more for entertainment than anything else. It's like those Top Ten FTW videos on Machinima, they sort of feel modernized and don't back up their reasons quite enough imo, but honestly I just use these to entertain myself and they can both be quite humorous. There are plenty of GC games better than RE4.

1. Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 2. Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past 3. Legend of Zelda 4. Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap That's pretty much it. I'm still trying to get immersed into the series more.

Does anyone know where I can find a copy of Daikatana cheap? I've tried ebay and Amazon. Thanks. :)

You should try either Play n Trade or Videogame Central, but I'm not too sure if they have it anymore. Ebay and Amazon are the best choices imo sometimes.

[QUOTE="48knightsxiii"]Which do you think is better? I would say Saturn, it had better polished games, had better games in more genres that I prefer, very powerful 2D hardware, less cash-ins on successful franchises, offered more variety First-Party wise, more original gameplay in many of its games.

I never played or had a Saturn, but even if I did I would still pick the PlayStation with all my knowledge of the Saturn's game library.

The video quality is actually pretty good, but the search engine is awful.

So, is it better than the ps3 internet browser's youtube? I don't have my ps3 right now, but what I remember the quality sucked on the ps3 internet browser.

In terms of sales and success I don't really think it matters much in a broader perspective (even if ff7 sold millions of copies with others a bit lower than that, JRPG's are among the most well-concieved genres to gamers) , but if you're asking someone's preference of which era of RPG's they'll probably think it was a golden age back then with all the great RPG's and such compared to today. I think the golden age was in the mid to late 90's since there were just some amazing RPG's.
