I agree with those above that you should go with the native setting for the TV.  I doubt you'll see any difference in the picture quality, but it may process the signal slightly smoother.

As for those talking about having "too big" of a television, well it really does depend on your setup.  I'm one of those people with a huge living room and I have a 50" Samsung (PN50A550).  It's actually a little undersized for the room it's in, but my 360 looks stunning on it.  I would highly reccommend it to anyone looking for a new HDTV.

I think XBL is a steal for the price it costs. Great service with tons of downloadable content for $50 a year.

Just finished Final Fantasy Adventure (GB). That one took me about 2 months, but it was definitely a positive experience.

Resumed playing Rolan's Curse 2 (GB) on a save that I started about 2 years ago. I've hated this game for the longest time, but I'm starting to realize it's actually pretty awesome.

Working my way through the original God of War (PS2). I think I'm nearing the end of Pandora's Temple as I just disposed of Hades' giant bull.

I rarely ever preorder, but I put one in for the gun-metal PS3/MGS4 bundle today. This one's for collecting or possibly reselling purposes.

I was able to preorder the gun-metal MGS4 PS3bundle from Konami today. Personally, I think it's a rip-off, but with the way people get excited about this kind of stuff I decided to buy and possibly resell. Also, having a gun-metal PS3 would be kind of cool, even if I never use it.

Great pick-up all of them,

As for the HD-DVD's just for my own information, what are they selling for around where you are?

I have picked up about a hundred in the last month or so since the sell of began in the 6.99 to 11.99 price range and I keep being told about two for ten deals happening but I am yet to see one,

I only know of one place that sells them used, but they hover around the $10 mark. Some are a bit lower and the rare ones are a bit higher. I've yet to see or hear of any two for $10 deals anywhere and I'm starting to get a suspicion that all the stores are just going to keep their stock at the $10-$15 range until it's gone. Deepdiscount.com has some pretty good deals on HD-DVDs and free shipping so you may want to check them out if ou're looking for anything specific.

waflerevolution

some good stuff there too... you just buying serenity... I'm guessing you already have the Firefly series?

Yeah, I already have Firefly. I'm one of those people who cannot/will not watch TV series and movies or play games out of order. Call it OCD if you like, but I call it logical.
