[QUOTE="UltimateGamer95"][QUOTE="Slig0"][QUOTE="megapikachu101"] whats AGP? A slot predating PCI-E. It is really ancient, and, as I know, the strongest card for it is pretty weak. That's all you know about AGP? lol I know more about it than you perhaps because I've had more experience with AGP lol ;) Well do you really think any more detail on AGP will help this user? If you do, go on. Explain to him the history of AGP and the first VIA chips. Explain the advantages of AGP and the data rates... I won't bother, really...
Christ, they're all crap, just go buy an NVIDIA 9500GT for 50$ and a stick of RAM if you play games.

excuse me he has an AGP board how is that going to work lol? :P whats AGP? A slot predating PCI-E. It is really ancient, and, as I know, the strongest card for it is pretty weak.
I get what youre saying , but for my own 1st pc build i rather have everything "legit" :)

Aw, okay then, but you'll have to cut on the rest of your budget then, which will greatly decrease your PC's potential :) There is no difference between arrgh matey-ed OS'es and normal ones, just the price :)
Well college students like me I hear can get Windows 7 for $30 ;) In what countries? And it is still more worth to pay $0 :P
[QUOTE="waffle57"] Of course, the review line on the RAM "The AMD platform has ALWAYS has issues when running 4 dimms" kind of worries me :P

Yeah, AMD omgbbq AMD bad! Please don't listen to those noob sobs! AMD has always had issues? That guy isn't really in a normal mental state, or is a great newb. First, he generalized AMD. There are 1.000.000 AMD mobo/CPU combinations and BIOSes! You really think every one of them has this issue? Maybe that reviewer was an angry customer of the early AMD chips (Duron?) that MAYBE had this issue. Sigh...
Duron had no problems of this kind as far as I can remember.
Nah, that was just an example, but Duron was not a good CPU overall. Very buggy :(
