So... I was playing guitar hero and suddenly decided to play the game and listen to the sound through the headophones.

I connected the headphones to the guitar, but nothing happened. So my really, really, really newbish question is...

Is it possible to listen to the game through headphones?

[QUOTE="Mister_korea"]CAN BE DONe SINCE XBOX 360 architecture is stronger. Look it up console noobs, the 360 has a stronger game engine. The 360 is only good at computing numbers. PS3's architecture is weak compared to 360. Look it up. Look at all the numbers. Look how it all stackes up.Costco746

Excuse my triple post but you must be like 15 right? You dont even know what you are talking about and the 360 doesnt have a "game engine" Video games have "game engines" not consoles. The PS3 has a stronger CPU and the 360 has a SLIGHTLY stronger GPU but the reason people praise it (devs) is because it relates more to a PC. Look up what numbers? Each are stronger and weaker in different areas. If your going to state something as outrageous as that, cite it so people wont take you as an ignorant adolescent. Have you seen Killzone 2? IMO, that game looks better than any shooter out on ANY platform. That doesnt mean the 360 CANT do that. It means we rely upon developers to not be LAZY and learn how to OPTIMIZE the game to the console they are working on. PERIOD.

I chose the console that best suited my needs which the 360 after having it from launch until last year just DIDNT fulfill.

Blutooth. I can use ANY headset. Not just MS brand ones which are stupidly priced.

Bluray. Just like the jump from VHS to DVD, Bluray is the next phase and it is proving strong. I can get movies as low as 10 dollars new online for blurays and the sharp 1080p image makes my experience far more enjoyable. Plus, more space equals more content.

Wireless Internet Standard. This is BUILT into the machine. Not an additional 100 dollar attatchement. And its a good one, I can pick up all my surrounding neighbors signals.

Free internet use. Ya, 5-6 dollars a month for live isnt bad, but its annoying. And having free play with, what I have had, no lag, is nice and convenient.

QUIET. You cant even notice the PS3 on. When I had my 360's, it sounded like an airplane was in my room ready for take off.

Custom removable harddrive. I can go on newegg and buy the harddrive of my choosing, any size, any brand. Not limited sizes and not JUST MS brand. Oh and I can use that HDD in a computer as well. Its not a special, console only HDD

NO FLIMSY DISC TRAY. Its about time we moved a step forward in this department. Disc trays are just another thing that can break. And a couple of mine jammed a few times.

Web browser. ya I have a computer, I know whats the point right? Well I have fun watching youtube videos on a 46 inch LCD. Or, just surfing the web from my couch.

Freeze free. I have yet to have a bad experience with my Playstations OS. Navigating through the 360 is just clunky and cluttered. this is just opinion.

HDMI. This comes STANDARD on PS3. Sure some 360's have it now, but what about all these people that bought it before the 89012348901 other versions of 360's came out. Ya PS3 has a few revamped models, but its mainly just HDD size. They dont EFF over people by giving them a product without an IMPORTANT feature such as HDMI (one chord for digital video and audio is a blessing) and then say oops! we realized it is nice so now we are putting it in. Thats a slap in the face of customer.

Controllers come standard with built in battery and recharger. Not some bogus wireless controller that uses double A's but if you want it rechargable, you have to buy a whole other package

This is just a FEW of the many reason I have chose to switch over the PS3. The only thing the 360 tempts me with is Gears of War and a couple other exclusives. That is all.

'

So... You're saying that you're not a fanboy? And besides, this isn't a PS3 vs Xbox360 thread

I would suggest getting the PS3 if you have the balls to stomach the price, because I've had some problems with my AV cable and RROD'ing on my elite, but if you have the patience for that stuff, then sure... Give it a shot.
