@nefphlegm: Certainly nothing like "It" (I wasnt big on that either), there's minimal jump scares (can only think of one atm, which they show in the trailer), 80% of the movie is more psychological drama than horror ("slow" to most people, though I didn't think so).

The story is kinda messy, a little bit "artsy" maybe, something that may take multiple viewings for some to see the bigger picture... but I thought it was still pretty well done for the most part and easy enough to follow overall.

I do recommend it, though I would add that it isnt exactly a great theater viewing either. Besides being long and "slow", there are tidbits I wanted to rewind/pause... had to google them later to see what exactly things were (insignificant in hindsight, but mildly annoying at the time).

I'd give it... a B, B+. Not quite a great, but pretty good. Collette did give an all-time great performance though (some of the other actors not so much).

Gotta admit, I found this moment kinda funny really. I know, I'm sick... but apparently so was half the theater.

It is vastly overblown on how scary the movie is (there's only one brief scene that even really tries, though it is pretty effective), but it was good overall. That's a glowing recommendation from me nowadays with horror, I've been hard to please lately.

Just record a toddler playing piano for the first time (tell him to take it slow!), save some money.

I kid I kid... there's at least 5-10 real songs in there. Don't know where they got the other 200+ tracks from though... oh, I see they're filling it out with sound effects. /smh

"Inappropriate behavior"... the third worst thing he is accused of creating here.

Not liking the reverse edge thing... but whatever. I just wish they'd get back to making good extra modes. An RPG/Fighter hybrid along the lines of what they did with 3's RTS thing would be dreamy. Another barebones lobby fighter like 4/5(/T7) may have me skipping out this go on my once favorite series.

@ahpuck: How they handle their business dealings, ok... EA is pretty much the devil and I don't know why anyone works with them. But to the consumer, I dunno, I find Blizzard's practices a bit scummier. They put no effort into their moneygrubbing schemes, they just print money whenever they feel like it.

Uh, no... but you have a point, they do time gate the raids sometimes too don't they (especially if you're into LFR).

@Pyrosa: I suppose, but I'd rather be able to earn it in game and not have to pay for it at all... which isn't an option in SC2.

"number of hours before you can play any co-op commander = 0"... maybe I'm wrong, but I think you only get to demo most of them, and then you have to pay to keep em (with no way of earning in game). Seems worse than Bf2's deal to me...

Let's not forget this is the company that brought you Diablo 3 v1.0 (aka, the game who's endgame was designed around people selling each other items [and maybe Bliz even created/sold some themselves] for significant amounts of real cash that Bliz of course took a hefty cut of).

And WoW sells its own gold (and manipulates the market to accommodate it). And WoW time gates 6 hours worth of content over several months...

And then there's Hearthstone (period).

etc, etc, etc.

They're both scum, but I'd argue Bliz is actually worse.
