I thought the Reapers were fine villains, but I actually prefer the villain and stories of the Star Ocean games (excluding 2). They may not have the best characters, but their stories are quite interesting.

Some of my favorite villains in no particular order: Golbez (FF4), Kefka (FF6), Sephiroth (FF7), Sin (FFX), Lord Yggdrassil (Tales of Symphonia), Pokey (Earthbound), Van (Tales of the Abyss), Luca Blight (Suikoden 2), Bowser (Mario), Ganon (Zelda), Krelian and Grahf (Xenogears), Lynx (Chrono Cross), Gongora (Lost Odyssey), Thanatos (Secret of Mana), Gilgamesh (FF5), Ozzie, Dalton, and Lavos (Chrono Trigger), Vayne (FF12), Ghaleon (Lunar SSSC), Fawful (Mario & Luigi, Eve (Parasite Eve), Delita, Dycedarg and Algus (FF Tactics), The Elder (Terranigma), Sun Li (Jade Empire), Arthus (WC3), and I remember The World Ends With You had some interesting villains as well. As for games that failed to capitalize, I'm too lazy to make another list, but I remember being disappointed with Tales of Vesperia's villain even though I loved the game.

Nobuo Uematsu, Yasunori Mitsuda, and Hitoshi Sakimoto have got to be my three favorite composers. They put most other game music to shame. It's sad that most games of today focus more on voice acting, while music gets the shaft.

I've only used the Hori Fighting Stick EX2 for Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix...and it sucked. The moves wouldn't work sometimes even though I always executed them the same way. The easier stuff like Hadoken works part of the time, but forget pulling off the most difficult moves. Sucks I wasted my money on that junk.

Gamespot is a great site and I don't think they're anti-Nintendo. But one complaint I have is these screenshot comparisons. The screenshots often look like crap and don't do the games any justice. It makes it hard to tell which game looks better. They're always really grainy. Anyway if you're a fan of great games, check out Super Mario Galaxy and you won't be disappointed. Unless you're too much of a wus to play Mario.

I agree with sirk. And yeah, there are games with better graphics but I have yet to find a game with better graphics that is more fun. I go for the fun factor more than the graphics. I played both Bioshock and Gears of War and have had more fun with Halo. And no, I'm not a microsoft or bungie fanboy. Like sirk said there is so much going on in the environments, its amazing. In Bioshock the environments are fairly enclosed and the game isn't as fast paced so they can afford to do that. Anyway I realize some people don't like console fps games but I bet a lot of the haters out there have not even played Halo or they only played it for a little bit. I didn't like Halo much when I first started but it grew on me and now its my favorite multiplayer game, I like it even more than Starcraft.
