With all the excitement from many gamers caused by the new GTA V trailer, I began to think myself of a weird guy. While I'm actually impressed about the visuals and awesome gameplay, I don't think I would buy that game. Why? because the stories and themes of realistic criminal violence are just not my taste.

Let me explain myself a little bit. While I'm actually a fan of many popular action and adventure game-series, GTA is not one of them (as all as other similar series like saints row). I love battlefield series, metal gear series, resident evil series, batman arkham series... hell even i kinda like COD and assassin's creed series. But when I used to have GTA games, I felt that the only fun it had just lasted a few hours. The theme was nothing of my taste, I never had any fun following the story of a criminal who kept fighting other gangs and killing innocents just to gain power, even if I kept repeating myself that "it is just a game".

General violence in videogames may be very controvertial, but I think there is a huge difference between "crime violence" and "heroic violence". It kinda feels like it's not the same to fight for a good cause than just plain killing for fun.

BTW, even after I sold my GTA IV copy, I actually DO believe the game deserved that perfect 10 score of many websites. Like I said, the visuals and gameplay are awesome IMO, just not my taste.

No, I don't. Kojima can make more games IMO. The whole MGS series are special. This aint no assassins creed or call of duty, or any other series that release a medocre game EACH YEAR. How long does it take for a major title of MGS to be released?

MGS1: 1998
MGS2: 2001 (38 months later)
MGS3: 2004 (36 months later)
MGS-PO:  2006 (25 months later)
MGS4: 2008 (18 months later)
MGS-PW: 2010 (22 months later)
MGSV: 2013 or 2014 (at least 40 months later)

That's releasing a game every 2.5 years in average. Rising doesn't count since it is a spin-off, neither VR missions, substance and subsistance since those are only expantions.

For me, they could release MGS6 and it would be OK.

Now, considering the game PES 2014 also uses Fox Engine, and knowking that it's release date is "September 20 2013", then... well, or maybe someone knows if this info is incorrect?

Hahahaha, nice one.... but just in case the questions is for real, for those who don't know: Metal gear solid 4 takes place in 2014 whi metal gear solid V takes place in 1984. Still a good dub that made me LOL

Title... anyone has an idea? My bet is on PAX Prime, since it was the event when kojima announced ground zeroes last year, but I really don't have an idea. Gamespot says december 31 2013 but I dont know where they got that.

Next gaming tech: MMOSG (massive multiplayer online sex game). Just be careful with the guys who lie about their gender with their character creation...

For me, the E3 of this year 2013 wasn't very interesting. I was expecting nintendo to give a new trailer and more information about the new zelda for the Wii U, or in the case of konami to announce the exact release date of mgs5. So besides E3, which convention do you like most? For me it would be PAX Prime and Tokyo Game Show. We would have to wait until until agoust-september for thouse though...

The think we saw in the last trailer is weird. How can he lost an arm and leg if the official images of the orignal mgs were showing a "complete" miller LOL. Look at this:

And don't say things like "he was Liquid at that time", because that has nothing to do with it, Liquid was just imitating the voice and maybe showing his face. If he was amputee we would know and the official image would show it.
